Irenicus did nothing wrong
24 (85kg/6"2). Was 30 (109kg) 2 years or so ago, so relatively speaking I'm doing well, but I'd still really like to knock off another 10 kg or so - I was skinny my whole life up until 5 or 6 years ago, so even relatively small amounts of extra weight feels really uncomfortable, and I don't have the frame to carry it well.
Actually losing the weight was a piece of piss. Cut the obvious shit out of my diet with the help of a dietitian (highly recommend this, cuts through the bullshit you get trying to put a diet together from books and BS internet advice) and added some easy-but-healthy stuff (fruit smoothies, brown rice, oats, etc), stopped drinking more or less anything other than water, did 2 - 3 hours of martial arts training a week for 6 months or so, and it melted off over about a year. I got lazy when the place I was training at shut down and have pretty much stagnated since, but I've been getting back on the treadmill the last week or two, so hopefully I'll start making progress again.
