Don't even need a scanner anymore. Got an app on my phone which streams police / fire / ems / whatever is available from around the country from people uploading it. Listening to the Boston one now.

Yeah the live Boston chatter link is finicky as fuck I think, either that or Im missing something. Took me like 10 mins to get it back once I closed it by accident.

I'm really surprised that they went up with a news helicopter instead of a police helicopter with an infra-red camera to track the guy if he runs.

FBI and Homeland are leading this and everyone is there, from ATF, bomb squads, a couple swat teams, and at least a half dozen different local police forces. If this isn't connected to the marathon bombing whatever fucked up criminal element this is picked the worst time and place to commit a crime.
