No I mean I'm listening to it, and nothing is happening unless I'm just completely missing something. You guys are making it sound like Fallujah. That's the same scanner Dabamf linked.

The first dude died I think right when I started listening to it, but that was 2 hours ago or something and I haven't heard any real progress since.

It was hardcore earlier when they vaporized the first perp. Now they think the 2nd guy has locked himself in some building.

Edit: From the MIT shooting to the part where the first suspect died shit was pretty intense. After that #2 just ran away and didn't do much but break in some building and trip some alarms.

I'm still on the one Fuze linked. We're certainly only hearing one channel of the chatter. It ain't the warmest right now, closing the cordon, house to house, etc. It was warmer before but I never heard shots fired calls or the like earlier.

Edit: All that being said I did hear reports over comms of auto gunfire, and grenades. Heard them call up EOD, call all cops to turn off cell phones, called up long guns, etc.

I'll reiterate my earlier speculation. I think the other kid had a bomb on him, and was willing to take out as many cops as he could with him. I think they're dealing with kids who are all in.

Think you're right, I don't know Boston PD's SOP but when I was a younger man and 20lbs lighter, if we made a dude strip to nothing, we suspected suicide vest.

I think this is one of the few situations where the cops would prefer to take a cop killer alive. It's safer for their city that way. It's really important that they learn everything they can about these two guys.

Well if he is listening to a police scanner he knows the area they are focusing in on atm.

Why do these people sound so stupid? If they can do a bombing like this despite the fact they are grade a morons what does it say about our law enforcement? I just don't even know what to believe any more.
