City of Boston just announced that ALL public transit is suspended until further notice. The city desperately hopes that everyone stays home and inside. The city recognizes that this might go on for several days.

I'm pretty behind on this story now so I'm a little confused on how this escalated to the point of suggest martial law and helicopters being brought in. Is there suspicion of something serious going down soon? I'm having a hard time understanding why helicopters of that caliber are required for this manhunt if that's all that is going on.
