BOSTON (CBS) - Two people are dead and several dozen injured after two bombs went off near the Boston Marathon finish line Monday afternoon.

It happened around 2:50 p.m. outside Marathon Sports on Boylston Street as thousands of runners were finishing the race.

CBS News senior correspondent John Miller said there is "an individual in custody," a Saudi national who was near the scene of the blast.

Miller said a civilian claims the person was acting suspiciously and chased him down and tackled him after the explosions.

The man is said to be cooperating with investigators and denies any involvement.

CNN just said about 5 minutes ago that nobody has been arrested yet in conjunction with the bombing and no suspects identified. I wish I could hate CNN to death.

And now they are just showing footage of emergency personnel breaking down barriers. WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING WOLF?

One of the things that the Afghanistan and Iraq wars have done is caused the treatment for amputations to become incredibly effective. An amputation that would have killed you 20+ years ago is now something where there's a much higher survivability rate. As long as you can get a tourniquet on, surgeons will likely be able to save you.
