I tried this change in my group by dropping Darv and it worked well vs Loch, but without Darv I can't 1 shot Zelnite 100% now and he usually causes me to lose the survive bonus without the mitigation. So pretty much its same as with Darv, but chance for someone to actually die.

Maybe I will try dropping Kuda and Darvenshel for Fiora and Dilma. That will cover all the 1HKO scenarios and build my elemental damage bonus.

Edit: Went well until I miss swiped TWO people on Zelnite. Overall think it was going to end up the same. Need to find some Death Axe Maxwell using friends.

Said yolo and rolled... 4* Guardian Zelnite. I'll fucking TAKE IT. Sucks that I just sphere frogged Darvanshel and Elza.

Yeah, I really can't figure out a consistent team to OTK Loch, and then not be screwed on either Farlon or Zelnite. I kind of feel like this FH is too tailored to having Orna and Lucca. If you have them, enjoy your 1.9-2.1M per run. If not, good luck.

I'm not sure I've unlocked them yet. I did the first one in mistral easily, there was another one in Cordelica that I haven't done yet. Not sure I've opened the others yet. I'm in the zone after Zebra.

So I leveled Zurg, but he's only BB4. Plopped him on my arena team (which was Uda, Maxwell, Farlon (replaced by Zurg as lead), Ophelia, Kuda) and the results weren't terribly different. 1 kill on the first round and all BBs and maybe 1 SBB ready for round 2. I was hoping to see 2 kills consistently

The three free sphere frogs come from:

Valmodora (Encervis) unlocks after finishing Palymna (Cardes).
Lagzal (Lizeria) unlocks after finishing, I believe, Ryvern.
Verdute (Agni) unlocks after finishing Mirvana (Zevalhua).

I still need to do Verdute, but I don't have any units I want to sphere frog (still have one in mail). Darvanshel, Maxwell, Elza, Kuda, Zelnite, and Orna so far. I thought about Ulkina, but until I actually need a healer for something I'm saving them.

Really, you should just whip through a lot of the quests. My JP account is lvl 59 and on Palymna. With strong friends and the crazy power of newer units, it's cake. Even better on global is you can afk through them all.

Fucked up hard core last night on two FH runs so I've dropped down into the 30k ranking. Ah well, at least the Cowboys won.

Make sure kuda is in the last spot. Right now my team from top to bottom is Maxwell, ciara, zurg, dilma, kuda.

Maxwell, ciara, and zurg ai will all attack randomly. Dilma and kuda have a 70% of attacking units with highest hp, so they each have a shot of ohko.

You want Kuda in the last spot because of his typing. I don't know the whole spiel (I arranged my team after analyzing it though), but his typing does their BB if there is any unit below 50% hp. Elza and Maxwell's is above 50% I think.

I do Zelnite at the top so he can top off BB's, then Elza and Maxwell who I believe are the same type, and then Deemo and Kuda who I believe are the same type (edit: Deemo is type 3 which is mostly random). There's an indepth Reddit thread that tells you what units are what types, and how you should arrange them in an arena squad.

Been trying. Elza lead and just afk through. I've not had to stop yet. Zelnite is sort of distracting me now... lvl 1 - 5 star so far with mats to 6*. Need to pull out some crystals somewhere. Might just use the dark/water I have saved.

Edit: Fuck it, maxed Zelnite. 10 Water Crystals, 2 Fire Crystals, 2 Dark Crystals, 8 Dark Gods, 8 Water Gods, 3 Fire Gods, and 1 Earth God to do 1->80+1->100.
There goes almost all of my leveling mats

Hmm someone posted a big write up on Thunder Vortex Arena and it included a column of AI Typing, was the first I had ever seen of that. Would love to find the whole thread and figure out how to better structure my team.

edit: Found it -AI for popular arena units : bravefrontier

Ticked off I missed the Thunder Rare Summon event. Really wanted to try for a Rowgen and had 4 summon tickets from the 1 year anniversary to use.

Thanks for the link all. I had Kuda in position 1 so that his BB would flow to others if it went off. Rearranged my team and got a 3 kill on my first arena. +tacos for everyone

Tell me about it, don't have any of the units from Fiora's batch except Yujeh who doesnt do shit for me this FH. Still running my Double Maxwell, Kuda, Elza, Darvanshel, Zelnite team and always get about 1.6m every run (minus the runs I fuck up on Selfish God... fuck that guy seriously). Already had to gem twice just to stay in the 1500'ish rank, feels like im dropping rank slowly all the time as alot of people with those units are passing me up. Must get HR +4... ugh...

this happened to me on 3 runs. tried messing around with my team and got worked over. i was around 10k give or take 1k. now i just try to keep stay around 20k

I just ended up switching back to that group. I swapped out some Sols for Steeple Roses. The Dilma/Fiora experiment worked, but it ended up being the same overall with the loss of the extra dark elemental damage.

Highest consistent points for me, 1.65-1.8 depending on luck. Never have any die except to selfish god deciding to be an asshole.
