Don't pull now bros. It is a trap.

The next set of rate ups will include Vesti's OP batch while this "popular" rate up includes shitty units like Narza, Ulkina, Balagran, etc.

I am even holding out past that to the release of the God Summon Gate. Guarantees a pull from Kira's batch and up, so nothing but 7 stars. At that point they should take those units out of the RS gate and reduce its cost to 3 gems. That day will be *glorious*.

Short Answer: Yes.

Long answer has me getting over my jealousy of the typing on your Elimo and Edea lol

Ruby is great (particularly as a lead), Yuura is strong. Edea's 7 star is only a week away and she'll replace Darv as your MVP mitigator.

Colt is a pretty sweet Crit unit (as both lead and sub) that could replace Maxwell.

Depending on your units and the content you may or may not need a healer.....Elimo is a stone-cold amazing all-in-one mitigator/healer unit at 7 stars, but she never nukes anything so be mindful of that tradeoff....Edea may likely get more use than Elimo even though Elimo is meta as fuck.

Personal preference, but personally I'd probably raise Ruby first then get Edea ready, followed by the others.

Don't have a colt so probably sticking with Maxwell then. Funny how edea is so amazing now. She was dumpster tier before so I guess her seven star must really be something.

For crit buffers I have an anima orna and a guardian sgx. Don't think either outdo Maxwell though.

Maybe use my rosetta for when I don't need elimo? Haven't raised her at all though. Going to be a lot of evo and fuse unit grinding for me over the next couple of weeks.

In the end Elimo will be mostly Trials and such....she does it all defensively and once her 7 star Extra Skill is unlocked it becomes absurdly easy to fill her BB/SBB bars. Edea will shine in Raids. (There are even setups in JPBF where folks use them both together....besides both offering Mitigation, there isn't much overlap there, and the mitigation overlap allows them to use their UBB's.)

Rosetta and Ruby overlap a bit on Leadership skills with Rosetta being the more lethal of the two, but there is no reason the two can't co-exist as Leader and Sub....both are great in Frontier Hunter, although Rosetta is starting to get a bit dated now with some of the newer units out.

Honestly though, if you have either 6 star Rosetta or 7 star Ruby as lead, most questing/farming content you'll be able to faceroll....At some point you'll want to find some +30% HP friends (that is where you can get your Colt btw as a crit alternative to maxwell, plenty of them out there to be had - or Griel/Ronel friends for +BC/HC/Status Null), for some bulk....that and any of your mitigators as a sub will take care of most of your to-do list.

Well, that makes me appreciate my Breakers more. Yet now it leaves me a bit confused about the difference between the effect of an atk buff vs a BB damage buff like Dion's. Will read more later.

Getting your ruby up to speed should help you rebuild your friends list as people will want her for FH.

Atk buff will also increase normal atk damage and scales better in instances where you are using +hit (selena's ubb for example) since bb damages like dion's only impact bb/sbb they tend to be a higher percentage. Also, also they stack.

Anyone want to actually coordinate and do raids together? Is RC4 a big enough challenge where it's necessary?

I've solo'd RC4 before, but it takes me all of the 30 minutes (at least it did with my old group) and the rewards are not as good. Even one other partner gets the times down drastically though, so I usually try to get in on some randoms. Ever since the raid contribution updates went in, I'm really hesitant to join missions that are already in-progress.

IMO RC4 is only marginally more difficult/more time consuming than RC3 though. If you can do RC3 fine, RC4 isn't going to be much of a problem.

They also put in a Village upgrade to unlock the Celgrad Gem (Sol Creator upgrade). It takes both Sol and Luna creators to craft though, so more than doubles the effort required. Still going to be sweet though.

Does anyone think it is worth holding on to dupe Oguro or Diana? The honor summoning has me wishing I had more free unit space. I'm going to fuse or exchange 2 of my 4 Larios and 1 of my 3 Mifunes I think.

I'm having crap luck with the SHS gate so far, but at least I'm getting enough crystal's to drown all my units in. I'm leveling up units I don't even want to look at heh.

Having the same issue. Did the pull yesterday that I admonished you not to do BECAUSE IT WAS SO STUPID TO DO IT BUT I DID IT ANYWAY BECAUSE I'M A HYPOCRITE.

Anyway, got an Elza. Went ahead and 6*ed her and got her max level - I'll probably use her for FH. Also got Lava and Griel to 6* level 100, but I'm hesitant to use a Legend stone on either. I loooooove Griel but I have many friends with one. Anyone recommend Lava? Her SBB seems nice, but my hitcounts are too low as is for a Raaga team with Kanon, Shera, Claire and Kikuri. Lava would need to replace Claire, the best sparker of the bunch but who is otherwise a filler unit.

If I opt not to use Lava, I'll probably replace Claire with Zerafalgar. He's shitty, but his SBB has a higher higher hitcount than even Claire's, also has the BC buff, and doesn't have a spark buff that overrides Raaga's, so he's probably (wtf) better than Claire in my squad and will suffice until there's actually a reason to summon. He won't need a Legend Stone, either.

rc4 can be a pain in the ass for buffer jewel farming. Granmos party is annoying as shit, you have to bring a stbb for belmedia (need to kill tail for blaze pearl), nadal dalie (sp?) goes fast but again you have to use one stbb (lower body for doom ring)

I have about a million belmedia runs left so join whenever.

Does anyone happen to know if the rates for Selena on the final tier of her dungeon is worth the 40 energy? I'm assuming so. @2 hours of Energy for one attempt though, I'm not going to get as many bites at that Apple as I'd like. My luck isn't that good.

In my first 195 Super Honor summons, I've only gotten 1 starter (Guardian Magress). I want an Anima Selena so bad I can't stand it.

lol, well in fairness, I'm probably going to ignore everyones good advice here and do a few pulls tomorrow in the hopes that I luck out with a pull that would serve me better than Fadahl as a sub. Only having 1 unit of the 6, my odds are never going to get better than that during a popular rate up.

And I'm probably going to regret that too heh.

In my own lineup I'd use a Lava, but then again, I'd use a Claire too.
