I think your lack of Kanon hurts more than Raaga. It'd certainly hurt me more. That SBB + extra skill removes all sorts of complications.

One more item before spam stops - more qualified people might tell you othwise, but I had ZERO luck pecking away at hp bars to equalize them. It just wasted turns and got me killed. Once I finally got to the point that they were both 100% hp I beat them first try.

Well, gave it another try, but this time with my Tridon and Rize as subs in place of Oguro and Quaid. Came very close to a win the second time (I had Sefia dead and Kikuri had barely more than a sliver of health left, but 4 of my 6 were dead at the time also and the two left standing couldn't finish off Kikuri before Sefia resurrected....once that happened, Game Over.)

My weak-ass Tridon died twice before shit got real and Kikuri then died once while the Leadership skills were still active and she was somewhere north of 14k HP's - I can only ascribe that to plain old fashioned bad luck. Anyway, I had 3 revives with me, and Tridon's 2 and Kikuri's oddball 1 wasted them all before the 3-turn leadership debuffs started.

Rize died literally the turn before I was going to fire her UBB MegaNuke. That was a tad frustrating....at the very least I wanted to see what that nuke would do in there, but I never got the opportunity.

If my Tridon wasn't busy dying left and right and I had even one more Revive toward the end of that fight, I'd have won it.

Taking Oguro out I think was the right decision - but my weak-ass Tridon ending up being as much of a hindrance as a help. If he had been a bit stronger, I'd have had more revives available at the end, Rize would have had her UBB and this post would have been much different

Going to try it again a week from now or so, I have plenty else to be doing in the meantime.

Wow, was mindlessly clicking through the raid interface and accidentally spent a freaking gem to replenish raid orbs.

I've been running RC3 "End of Hades" ~15-18 times a day for over a week with ZERO Jewel drops of any kind, I've been so sick of it I barely want to look at it, but now that cost me more than just time. At the rates I'm going, 3 raid orbs are worth fuck all. What a waste. Angry with myself right now, would love to have that mistake back.

Thanks. Yea, that blows when characters just get wrecked like that, can be hard to adjust to getting one-shotted.

Done that before. It's suspiciously easy to do if your intention is to abandon a raid that for whatever reason just isn't gonna complete. Not sure if it's the same thing, but you can definitely use a gem to dosomethingon the give-up screen. Pisses me the fuck off.

Not sure why not a thread on it, but another game in this vein is Summoners War. Anyone tried that and just ended up going with Brave Frontier instead?

There's quite a long thread on SW - try a page or two back. Several people here - myself included - are ex-players. Still a lot here play it I believe.

A family pet (an asshole of a creature whom I have very recently personally disowned) conspired to destroy my keyboard while I was in a different room.

Yolo'd 2 summons today hoping for an Edea and got an Anima Tridon. Hoping his 7 star is awesome.

Tridon 7* is going to be interesting, as more and more units have +hp% on their leader skill, what will he get that really sets him apart. If nothing else he'll have great synergy with rivera and Aurelia subs.

Would make a better post if not on mobile (expecting keyboard tomorrow).....

Deimos and Zenia are INSANE. Deimos has got to be one of the most OP leads of all time and Zenia is one of the most amazing offensive subs I have ever seen.

Did some summoning yesterday because I am impatient and probably brain-damaged...got Anima Tridon 2 days after I sphered Lord Tridon (chalk that shit up to First World Problems(tm, and finally got a Colt but just before Reyes release. What I didn't get was any of the units I was actually pulling for. Boy do I regret that now. Wow.

How is 7* Ultor going to compete with Deimos? The suspense on Ultor/Tridon 7* profiles has gone from good anticipation to just pissing me off at this point.

Starting to think this game is bad for me. There are illegal drugs that are less addicting and less all-consuming than this shit.

I'm guessing ultor will have more offensive modifiers on his bb/sbb/extra skill. Seems a little weird that they are releasing two such similar units at basically the same time. Going to wait and see for tomorrow, but damn xenia is tempting.

Yes. I've been wanting / needing a good offensive-enhancing sub and Zenia is blowing my mind. I can't even quantify how perfect she would be for my roster...literally zero overlap in what she does vs. what I have.

I never did get Ultor though, and Deimos would replace Griel as my go-to lead at ludicrous speed.

Never mind that neither unit uses legend stones and all you have to do to get their spheres is run x2 raids.

Things would be so much simpler if these two units were mediocre instead of gods damned amazing.

How are these units not ludicrous? I want Xenia more than Bestie, so I pulled 6 times and got a Deimos (Anima!) Figured I could blow 75% of my gems and get one of the two, but it's really not worth pulling summoning 4 more times and having a 50% chance of getting a dupe. Either of you guys pulled the trigger yet?

Not yet, but this has broken me down. Had a stash of gems saved for Vesti. Had.

Equal parts optimistic and pessimistic right now. Part of me is hoping for a great new unit for my roster, the rest bracing for massive regrets.

If I get at best an Oracle and Vesti drops in two days, I will likely renounce technology, go live in the wilderness, and live off small rodents for the rest of my days.

My last act in modern civilization will be to let you guys know that I have checked out. You won't have to send anyone - I'd prefer spend my last moments facing down a hungry bear with not more than a pointy stick than to return and face the crushing weight of all my horrible decisions with my gems in this game.

Actually hoping there's no rateup on Vesti now. I've 7 starred Deimos and he's at max level and SBB, but he's not imped at all. Got a Breaker Ruby in those 6 summons (I actually think I like this typing more than Anima for her, so yay!) that is still at 5 stars, then there's also Ultor and Tridon who are unimped and in Tridon's case not even at 6* yet. Too much shit to do and running low on gems anyway.

It will really sooth the sting if Vesti has no real rate up....I was dreading that before, but hoping for it now. Strange ol' world it'n it?
