I thought Breaker traded defense, or is it more a matter of her having enough HP to survive damn near anything? I picked up her hero gem because todays BP was 5 vortex runs so even at her low level her HP is monstrous.

This Christmas event happened at an awesome time. I yolo summoned a Rhoa and had enough exp fodder to max his 6*. I'm just waiting for a thunder mech to push him to 7* and probably use him for my lead.

Rhoa is great.

Yes, breaker trades def for atk. For Selena's 7* form, you lose 238 defense and gain 268 atk for breaker. You'll get 600 def and 600 atk from imps (and 600 rec, and 1500hp), so the difference isn't that big. Anima is a bit better, as rec is pretty close to a throw-away stat with the way it's working, but breaker's extra atk is nothing to sneeze at.

I wish the fucking event was all-evo dungeons, as I want to evolve my new Griff, but didn't get shit in time on Tuesday.

Is it really worth it to craft spheres? Seems a lot easier to get good ones from achievements, grand quests, etc.

Yes. You'll get to the point where you want the 40% spheres, or specific named status-up spheres for characters that require them. The achievo/grand/etc spheres are good, but you won't normally have full coverage of your squad in them just because of the named spheres and the 40% spheres.

Yeah, I wanted to see if the "divine gate" mechanic actually worked... cashed in 3 summon tickets and blew 10 gems for...

Maruideth (dupe and 6* max, fuck you game)

and special divine gate was Rhoa! (Dupe).

Fuck this noise. This is why I can't bring myself to spend any money on this game. It's all a shell game even when they hype it up.


Well, 5 summons worth of MP I guess... not like there' shit I can spend it on in there even. Imp keys are eternally purchased, I'm running out of legend stone units (the decent ones are done already). Maybe more artons?

This promo was dumb and objectively worse than a 5+1 promo. The other problem is that a great batch at best has around 4 useable units while an average batch has 2. As units get outclassed the pool of units you want is tiny compared to the total pool (even if they switched to full time divine gate). So the odds of getting a new useful unit get pretty bad.

I'm going to try and skip the next two batches just for better odds of getting a unit.

New 7* Christmas unit being released on the 23rd. Skills look great, but it will likely have a dog shit animation, and be a 10+1 (aka 50 gem minimum). I'm planning on passing.

Yeah, for that reason I haven't done a single summon since my stupid 15 bucks over Thanksgiving got me Haile. The odds of getting a Charla or Dolk or whatever are just too low.

I had given some consideration to pulling if it was 10+1. Saw that it's 6 summons for a 1/17 chance. Hilarious. Now to watch the salt flow on Reddit.

Supremacy stance: if everyone doesn't bb/sbb he wipes the party
War stance: not everyone can use the same action

Party I'm using: avant/rhoa krantz, will, nadore, griff subs.

Hrm, I don't have a nadore, any suggestions for a replacement? Thinking Medina just to ensure my BBs are full for supremacy.

Also I'm assuming I can do Guard on 1 character1 and the rest can SBB? or is it trying 6 different actions (can only think of 5... guard/attack/BB/SBB/UBB).

BB on hit is pretty important since you'll kill his arms before his main part. But he hits real hard so not having a def buff is going to hurt.


Did 6 summons because I'm weak and have a good amount of gems. 6 dupes. Not sure what I was expecting.

Yeah, I think I'm going to have to go tridon/deimos lead for this. Tried subbing in Medina for Nadore and using your setup, got smoked. Tried subbing in Chrome instead of avant, got smoked. Tried subbing in Melchio for Medina(Nadore), got smoked. TIME TO GRIND BABY!

Also medina's SBB has bb on hit, so I figured it would be ok. Melchio had status cleanse/prevent (allowing Krantz to only heal) and def buff... but they didn't work at all. Maybe Aurelia instead? :|
