Hey I just caught up on Breaking Bad, you have to deal with being reminded that Skylar is a terrible character and almost all the female characters in the show are evil, ineffective, ignorant, weak and/or bitches.

I do like the Madrigal chick, though her trying to have Mike's guys kill Mike is pretty dumb but forgivable. I would've loved it if she spent more time being a corrupt beaurocrat and less time being someone afraid Mike was going to kill her. The scenes she did with Walt were great.
because, like Hank, Walt, jesse, and other major players, she is playing the game. she da player. other women are just fillers for drama. jesse was a filler long time ago, until the creator found a new use for him. he was a douchebag all the same. skyler eventually got out of cunt stage and started playing the 'game.' Some of us instantly came to like her overtime.

the problem, again, is that there are too few women to notice (because...this story is about drug and a lot of women don't risk their lives to win cash like men...)., which would probably amplify your perception that women are portrayed as everything evil about women. If this show was about fashion competition, you'd see a lot more women and more interesting choices.

If Skylar has been a player, she wouldn't have gone mental about drug money / Walt lies / I fucked Ted. If you're looking to the genuine wife player, you should look up The Sopranos' Tony's wife. Carmella is a real player, because while having doubts and almost giving up everything, she still sticks to the business no matter what. She's aware of her social status, she knows she wouldn't stand living in a shithole with a regular job. She willfully takes the pros, and the cons.

Skylar doesn't stick with anything really, she's a drama wife time ticking bomb trying to get away from her life with all the pros minus the cons. Also you have to be aware than she married Walter White and she now have to deal with Heisenberg. Another Jekyll / Hyde dilemma. Her husband has totally changed, from being a low suburbs physics teacher struggling with life to a criminal mastermind involved in crime, drugs and deception. In early seasons Walt was doing it "for the family", to secure them money wise. Now, he's just enjoying too much what he's doing : his life has now a better purpose.

And about series finale : Gilligan is at the same place where The Sopranos' David Chase was : delivering a kickass finale to a series where everything is foreshadowed / anticipated / discussed ad nauseam. The series finale will most likely rustle a lot of jimmies. Also it's rumoured AMC was at some point looking to run a spinoff based on Saul Goodman, though the project is now axed (it's AMC, they axed Rubicon while renewing shit tv shows like The Walking Dead, they don't care about quality, they want money upfront) therefore it's possible we see some new Breaking Bad universe material in the future.

She's a player for sure, but they didn't do enough exposition on her to understand her motivations. It seems like she's already wealthy and she cares a lot about her kids so it doesn't make much sense unless she feels that the only way she can avoid getting killed by Walt is by staying relevant to his obsession.

i thought the saul goodman spinoff was a go? again, breaking bad is not an amc owned show. do you think AMC would spend 3 million per breaking bad episode if they owned it? it is made by sony pictures. sony could greenlight whatever fuck it wants, if amc doesnt want to air it then fuck them, they will go somewhere else with it.

For people who think Syler is the worst character ever in television, just read this. ->http://www.uproxx.com/tv/2013/07/bre...s-every-knock/

Outside of the first 10? minutes of the first episode her husband is a meth dealer who ends up involved in the deaths of247 people. She sure is such a bitch because she wants the best for the non meth dealing members of her family while still trying to trick her kids into thinking everything is normal.

Walt was the dude to give Hank enough doubt that Gale wasn't Heisenberg. He likes being chased and known that there is this all-powerful Heisenberg out there.
He hated the life he had before. When he found out he had cancer he didn't really seem to mind. He also didn't want treatment for it initially as well. He also tried to kill himself in the very beginning but his gun jammed. He either wants to get caught or killed

He wants to be respected and known for greatness, something he already passed on earlier in his life.

imo he goes out in a blaze of glory, letting everyone know he was behind it all.

It's not misogyny to dislike an intentionally bland character whose only defining characteristic is being a turbocunt. It's misogyny to write a character who's sole characteristic is being a turbocunt.
What a surprise. The same guy who used the Zimmerman thread as an outlet for his closet racist views is also using this thread to let us know how much he hates women

I don't read many tv show threads here but I do read the GoT and walking dead thread and the well written women characters in it are pretty beloved and the average written ones are accepted. The exception to that is Andrea from TWD, Catelyn Stark from asoiaf and Skyler from Breaking Bad.
So you agree with my point then, that the TV Forum, based on the threads you've read is a raging cesspool of women hate

No, and if you think I agree with you based on the messages I've written you've given me reason not to bother engaging you again.
