I love that I had a friend over to watch tonights episode, and when Hank and Walt are talking in the garage, my friend goes "Man, I love how basically every conversation this episode has been between two people who are both just lying to each other while pretending to be sincere." Right at that moment Walt stops, turns around, and 5 seconds later the garage door is closing and we are both just going "Uhhhhhhhhh WHAT????"

in reality though, hank fucked up bigtime. one for removing the only link between walt and gale from his home and for letting walt know he was on to him before he could compile sufficient evidence for an arrest. hank has not a goddamed bit of usable evidence other than his word that he found that book of poems in walts home. this is why he is going to need pinkman and unfortunately walt will realize this and will need to remove him from the equation. though i really dont think walt could go through with killing jesse. not to save his own skin which is at death's door apparently.

Walts' house of cards is still a house of cards. An audit of the car wash alone would backtrace Walt into the jailhouse. Hank doesn't have to prove that Walt is Heinsenberg, that's one of the points of the entire garage conversation. He doesn't have to and even if he could Walt will still die before he goes to jail.
Who is supposed to be cooking the meth now? Corporate bimbo shows up and starts talking about low grade product and her ass in a sling and I assume that Jesse is running the operation now. But the conversation between Walt and Jesse leads me to believe that isn't the case at all. Seems kinda late in the series for that sort of inconsistency. Did they supposedly teach Mr. Trainrobbery FNG how to cook in a month?

unreported income is not as big a deal as drug kingpin. at best walt gets a big fine from the IRS for not reporting his 'gambling' winnings and pays it off. at worst he gets some time in a posh prison. and that would take years to prosecute and walt dies long before then. nah walt left some major fuckup somewhere. i bet jesse helps with that one
