I wouldn't say all those guests are vastly more popular. Daft Punk is huge internationally, but stepping onto the America's Got Talent stage during a live show was pretty impressive. Colbert's got a lot of pull.

Stepping into Charlie Roses black room while he was doing a fake interview (I'm pretty sure he was actually there and not movie-magicked into a pre-record, Charlie seemed to be responding to him) made me LOL.

And then Colbert coming out of the closet (lul) and fucking Kissinger calling security on him. Yeah, Colbert got some pull. And he obviously has been planning that dance scene for a while.

He mentioned finding out at 2pm, so figured it was a last minute deal. I don't know much about Daft Punk internationally, but for Colbert's audience Bridges, Cranston, Damon, and Laurie are all much more popular.

I think the dance video was planned but the rest of the show was basically on the fly. He had Ashton Kutcher and Robin Thicke fill in at the last minute, Ashton is only on for like a second. He literally spent the rest of the show railing against MTV and calling Daft Punk fucktards. Brought to you by Hyundai.

It was probably the best episode of Colbert Report of all time.

Walt has taken on some of the minor characteristics of people he killed. After Crazy8 he started cutting the crusts off his sandwiches, like K8 liked em. Before he killed Mike he drank without ice, after Mike he drank alcohol on the rocks (like Mike). The cold opening of S5 had him driving a Volvo, which is what Gus drove.

In the cold opener diner scene, hairy bearded future Walt makes a birthday bacon & egg plate for himself, which is what Skyler used to do for him... whoooooaaah

good theory. I noticed that he cut the crusts but I just assumed he realized he liked it more that way. I didn't notice the volvo or the ice

i just assumed the bacon thing is a birthday tradition skyler does for him. she wasnt in the diner so he did it for himself. doesnt mean he definitely killed her, although he may have done so.
