The reason we have a vagina is because if we are pregnant, the baby can come out. It's the physical function of the vagina. There is no other way for the baby to come out than through the vagina, that's the way it is, it's natural. Biology ordered it that way. There are many other ways of becoming pregnant than through penetration of the penis into the vagina. For instance, putting sperm on the vulva is enough to become pregnant. Women, if they wanted to become pregnant, could just ask a man for some sperm and apply it herself. PIV isn't natural but externally imposed, cultural. As opposed to pregnancy which is a process that's internal to our body, it's not something that men are doing to our body 24/7 so that the pregnancy happens. Pregnancy, once it happens, IS. It's not caused externally. It's there. In the case of PIV, because it's something DONE by SOMEONE ELSE to ourselves, not something internal, looking at the physical damage it causes is a way of arguing that it's unnatural (violent) because if it were either natural or good, it wouldn't cause that.

Edit: Maybe there is something in the actual book I'm missing...but what a ridiculous line for "what is rape". That all that's needed is to find the person "creepy" the next morning and to have been drunk. By those standards, how many men are raped every year? If the guy woke up next to Lena, and saw she was a hambeast and regretted what happened, is he raped now? She did say she was also agressive, talking dirty to him ect--so why isn't the guy "raped"? Is the line literally because he didn't complain or feel bad about it?

If he doesn't call you back within 24 hours is it rape? If he does within 48 hours and agrees to another date and/or marriage, can you still call the police back and cancel the rape allegation so as not to interrupt the next weekend's plans? I'm thinking after 48 hours prison is required.

Now that really is funny though. It's already funny when a white couple has a black baby. But when a white lesbian couple has one it is 4 times as funny.
