I don't even understand the author's point. Are we not supposed to reference traumatic experiences any more in fiction because somebody who has suffered a traumatic experience might get upset?

I've never read The Killing Joke. Maybe it really is misogynistic. But if it is, Miss Bullock did a lousy job making that case. She just seems really, really upset that a bad guy in a comic book did something really bad.

I predict the internet will get bored of these lazy clickbait articles sooner rather than later.
