Apparently I have raped a whole mess of women, and almost all of them liked it.
I want to back up to this for a second. After 12 god damned years of this place I can tell that Eomer is a smart dude and is probably one of the most valuable posters (MVP!) we have here in our collective FoH/RR community.
What I have quoted from Eomer is also my experience in life.
What I mean is that, well, shit, I mean that some of these gals want it. Tanoomba might call it rape, I might call it hot sex, someone else might call it normal sex, but whatever it is, it is absolutely consensual. They get drunk not in order to fuck, but *because* they want to fuck.
Tanoomba thinks that all of us, collectively, are responsible for the actions of the females of our society. I call him a misogynistic pig for this.
I was raised by the most feminist woman I have ever met, my mother. But here is the rub, her brand of feminism would puke into Tanoomba's mouth and then punch him in the face and make him choke on it. Tan, you are ACTUALLY making women into something weaker than they are by insinuating that they require *the* correct reaction by men in order to prosper!
A true feminist would acknowledge that all women, and in fact all
people, are responsible for their own actions.
I do not mean to insinuate that rape isn't a real thing. But I DO mean to insinuate that if you coddle women to TOO much of a degree (which you are) that you actually end up creating a class of women that is wholly dependent on male philosophical affirmation which is ACTUALLY an act of gross sexism on your part. I respect my women enough to know that they can make their own choices. If one of them gets drunk with a boy and they have sex with each other, then she needs to understand how and why that happened.
As a side note I'd like to add that my very own sister (1 year younger than me and also raised by the same feminist I was) married a man much like you. She is currently experiencing a crisis of ethics because her husband is more female than she is and is raising their daughter to be an existentially weak-willed little princess that lives in a fantasy world of 'the girls are always right' and whom will almost certainly rebel against her 'daddy's girl' archetype at some point in the future. My sister see's it coming and doesn't know exactly how to stop it. My sister, a strong feminist raised by a strong feminist, would vomit and cry at your conclusions.
Everything in moderation dude. Nothing is always right all the time. Including feminism. It is why I call you a 'hyper-feminist'.
