You are joking eomer right?
Any time period it sucked to be poor, regardless of gender and skin color. Mieval poor people, the majority of people, had a horrible time.
it got better after black plague because they had leverage over landlords lol. supply and demand.

Medieval society wasn't good for anyone. There's a reason no social or economic progress happened for 1000 years. Yes you had more luxuries if you were in the tiny handful of landowners, but you were still trapped in an unworkable, dead end society.
It was fucking awesome to be the king, or nobelty.

Although there's certainly an element of truth to it. For the better part of the past couple millennia, white men have generally ruled the Earth.
There is no element of truth to saying White man ruled the world for the last couple of millennia.

While male only ruled europe because there were no other races in Europe for several millennia, so male ruled Europe.

White male never ruled , Africa, middle east, Near Asia, Far Asia, South Asia, Caribbean, South America, North America, in any period prior to 1600, that is only 500 years ago.

the idea behind nobility/king was that they would fight to protect peasant's crops in exchange for monetary funds. they did that for couple centuries and then it became entrenched to the point of irrelevance and hence French Revolution. If the nobles, Kings, etc, would fight in war and die in it, there wouldn't be tons of revolutions, probably. motherfuckers forgot wut it meant to be a noble. die for your kingdom, faggots.

Nope. It was good compared to everyone else at the time, but still sucked compared to even a shitty life today in any free society. And there was no progress towards the society we have today until after feudalism collapsed. It was basically 1000 years of European society sitting around with it's thumb up it's own ass.

eh...i wouldn't say they were sitting around with it's thumb up it's own ass. feudalism, if we go by Marxist dialectic, was stages of development and only when antithesis exist can we truly progress. So if there is no antithesis, then we might as well as not progress at all. Industrial revolution clearly progressed humanity more than we can possibly fathom. Medieval society, though, I am not even sure is better than Antiquity--standard of living wise.

So... it was fucking awesome to be the king or nobility then. We're agreed.
It was pretty awesome to be in Versailles but you'd be a king's bitch for life.

I've heard claims that the royalty had a lower life expectancy than the people under them.

Even if that isn't true I'm pretty sure I'd rather be sitting here listening to music and eating raspberry sorbet while I surf the internet than King of Whatever 500 years ago.

Doubt it. Only difference between the king and serf_01 was the amount of material possessions. Not like kings had access to healthcare or shit like air conditioning.
But they also didn't have to till the fields and mine the coal or eat the rancid leavings and all that po'bukker medieval shit that tends to result in dying at the ripe old age of 26.

Hehe. Well, honestly, there were plenty of 60 year olds. Depending on the generation and the frequency of fighting.

And they probably weren't mining a lot of coal back in 1268.

It's like Monty Python said. There goes the king! How can you tell? He's the only one of us not covered in shit!

The entire point of being landed was that your life sucks less.

It sucked less, but it wasn't getting any better. No progress was happening.

In free societies, life actually improves for yourself and the people around you in the span of your own lifetime.

you keep repeating this as if it is fact and I truly wonder whether you ever examine your own thesis.
