Yes: seated on the floor, legs straight and flat to ground, feet togrther I can put my forehead to my knees and reaching out, hold my feet.
Yes: standing bent over, legs straight and together, even in the heels I am wearing today, can hold my palms on the floor.
I can't do splits though...good glutes and lateral hip and thigh muscles but really tight adductors.

Lol no. Like at 72" tall I'm only 28 length pants. Most people this height are more like 32-34ish.

+1 for this I had Iliotibial Band Syndrome problems that were almost exclusively caused by poor flexibility in my lower body

I'm extremely flexible, but toe touching isn't on the list.
I can get into "full lotus" position without using my hands. (Indian style with feet on top instead of on bottom)
I can hold hands behind my back (like this picture shows)
While sitting indian style or full lotus on the floor, I can bend my waste and touch my face to the floor.
All that, but nada for toe touching. My hamstrings are so tight that my feet don't even point straight unless I'm consciously aware of it. I walk duck footed. My feet come together and make a V at the heels.
Laying down on my back, my feet don't even stick up in the air. They both comfortable roll to the side, making my body into a T shape.
Oh, while my legs are both together (laying or sitting in a chair with my legs straight), I can do really sharp knife edges on my ankle and touch the bottoms of my feet together.
I can also roll my feet from the standard V of my duck walk all the way to a /\. Really flexible hips.

SHOULD everyone be able to touch their toes or is it impossible for some (sans people with deformities or missing limbs)?
I exercise 3-4 times a week and do pre-workout stretches. Been doing this for years and I have never gotten any closer to touching my toes.
