Bullets fired from rifled barrels spin. which admitted is the vast majority since black powder muskets...

Arrows can. Depends on how the fletching is attached. offset, helical or straight. offset and helical both create spin.

Spinning projectiles travel more accurately. But slower.

lol, dunno I've only ever used arrows that fly exactly as you loose them unless damaged. If they spin because of the vanes I believe they will be unbalanced and rotate pretty wild. I think you can do it with grinding broadheads a certain way though.
But he's right. All the arrows I've ever used spinned. I've even made some arrows so I know it's because of the angle of the fletchings. Well, OK I've helped make some arrows. There might be a use for arrows that don't spin, but the accuracy is garbage.

You're probably right I only have shitty arrows. I only tend to notice them spinning when they have damaged vanes so they oscillate badly and go wild.

Does anyone else hate after credit scenes? I don't want to sit through five minutes of fucking credits for a 10 second segment that may not even be worth it.

It's all part of Marvel's allure. Even if you hate them, you'll still sit and wait for it.

That said, Marvel does the best aftercredits shit. I was underwhelmed by the Dead Pool ones, but it didn't take away from the overall movie experience.

They're never worth it. People sitting there waiting desperately to be shown what's essentially a commercial is pretty good marketing, though.

I don't mind after credits scenes because they give time for the unwashed masses to squeeze out of the theater through a tiny door while I remain seated and discuss the movie with my wife and/or friends and we wait for a potentially cool/fun extra scene.

But I do appreciate the irony of someone complaining about wasting 10 minutes, ON A MMORPG FORUM.

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to Runnen again.

My wife makes me sit through credits on every movie. Compares it to going to a play or musical and walking out during a curtain call. I see her point, but Joe Skippy the Assistant to the Key Grip's Dog Walker isn't in the theater to see me walk out... especially when I have to wiz.
So the Marvel post credit scenes at least make it worth it.

yeah, this is the problem. I like stingers. A well planned, or executed credits is great, as well as a good final note, afternote. There are tons of great examples of this.

the problem is Marvel has forced them. Many are really poorly shoehorned in. just teasers for the next movie. They should be endcaps to the movie you just watched. often, addressing an unresolved element from the movie, that didnt fit into the conclusion.

You didn't get the biggest nerd boner ever when Samuel L. Jackson took the screen to introduce himself as Nick Fury to Tony Stark and tell him about a little plan called The Avengers Initiative?

That was such a mind=blown moment for me.

I thought Guardians of the Galaxy's was perfect.

They were great when they started, now they are pretty dull and no longer worth the wait.

I decided after deadpool I was done with after credit scenes in the theater.

Dunno, I just bought and re-watched Age of Ultron (seems to get better with subsequent watches, although I already liked it plenty on first watch). That Thanos scene at the end still gave me goosebumps. Good build-up!

I may be easily pleased re: MCU though.

I cant remember all of the older ones but they were pretty lame typically, I really enjoyed Deadpools ending since it literally came out and told you whats going down in the sequel and then made jokes. I didnt think much of the Quicksilver/Scarlet end scene in Thor or WS because it seemed more like a nod to fans but I would have geeked out if I would have known they were going to be in AoU at the time
