From reading the wiki to refresh, Odin only had the Tesseract. It was considered the crown jewel for him.

The others were already scattered around

It was the collector that warned of not having 2 stones in the same place at the end of Thor 2, but he broke his own advice in GOTG

The better question is why they would create the Gauntlet

Holy shit, you have to be trollin now, or you really are on the Astrotard level.

You guys are talking about the Tesseract activating an actual portal for travel! when we were having a conversation on how the Tesseract could be found..

Clearly the tesseract isn't laying dormant when Hydra had it....

If any other worlds were to find it, that would be the time. Also like I said, we have no clue what Hydra did with the Tesseract the whole time it was in their possession.
Dude, the battery in my car, in my PC, etc are all providing power at all times. Regardless if my car or PC are ON. As power source the gems are all generating power all the time, even if the "software" and the actual function of the gems are not active. (Age of Ultron shows the gems have "software"... which to dives into that argument. IT was a key element of creating Ultron. Tony was certainly not going to somehow invent a rogue alien AI, to create Ultron without the Mind Gem.) Shield did something to actually activate it. which allowed it to start receiving communication.

The alternative is just dumb coincidence.

Watched it again. For those questioning Spiderman not sensing Ant-Man, he did.

Capt gives Ant-man the go ahead to engage and Ant-Man confirms (as he gets to the rim of the shield), Spiderman says something along the lines of "What's that?" giving me the impression he sensed the danger, but Ant-Man was too small to be noticed.

Marvel Cinematic Universe Passes $10 Billion Mark At Worldwide Box Office
In 2009, Disney bought Marvel for around $4 billion. At the time, the Marvel Cinematic Universe was still in its infancy, and some in the industry questioned if Marvel was really worth that much.

Now, fast forward to seven years later, and the Marvel Cinematic Universe has just cracked $10 billion at the worldwide box office, thanks to their latest blockbuster Captain America: Civil War. Most studios have their fair share of flops mixed in with their various blockbusters, but the success rate of Marvel Studios has been unprecedented in the industry.
Since Marvel Studios started financing and producing their own films with Iron Man, they literally have not had a single flop. Every single film has proved to be a box office success.

In all, there are thirteen films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, including The Incredible Hulk, which was produced by Universal.

Avengers = $1,519,557,910
Avengers: Age Of Ultron = $1,405,413,868
Iron Man 3 = $1,215,439,994
Captain America: Civil War = $940,892,078
Guardians Of The Galaxy = $773,312,399
Captain America: The Winter Soldier = $714,421,503
Thor: The Dark World = $644,602,516
Iron Man 2 = $623,933,331
Iron Man = $585,174,222
Ant-Man = $519,445,163
Thor = $449,326,618
Captain America: The First Avenger = $370,569,774
The Incredible Hulk = $263,427,551

The Marvel Cinematic Universe has made a grand total of $10,025,516,927 at the worldwide box office. The even more amazing thing is that Marvel Studios doesn't show any signs of slowing down any time soon. With Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 and Avengers: Infinity War Parts 1 & 2 likely sure bets to cross the $1 billion mark, it's probably only a matter of time before the Marvel Cinematic Universe hits the $20 billion mark at the worldwide box office.

Yeah, they even made it a point to illustrate he's not mastered it too. Even in the comics it isn't absolutely perfect, for a 16 year old spidey less than 6 months into his powers? I think it was a really great portrayal. He got excited multiple times and fucked up, dude was geeking out about being around all the super heroes, felt very believable to me.

Especially considering in this world, he grew up watching these guys on TV--it's been 8 years since IM 1, and stories of Captain America in WW2 were shown to still be big, and Avengers one happened right in his back yard, when he was like 13ish? Just imagine seeing that on TV. Loved the part where he told Captain America he was a big fan. It really emphasized how this is a shared universe, when we get a Spider Man film, I think they will probably go into how watching the Avengers molded Spider Man into wanting to help people, to emulate them. But yeah, in most cases where he's caught off guard, it's because he's being a smart ass or too excited.

Decent video about Spider-Man's synthetic silk, and at the end of the video, he mentions how/why for the "shutters" on the eyes of his mask.

Great move. I rank it 3rd in the Marvel movie universe behind Guardians of the Galaxy and Avengers 1.

The Airport fight was the best fight they have had in any of their movies.

It fit the plot pretty well too since the Ironman side was comically overpowered compared to the Capt. side, so it made sense that they'd fuck off and not try too hard and mess a few things up so Capt could escape and further the plot. If Ironman/Spiderman win that battle then it's like... welp, movie takes a turn...

???. Reverse that. Cap's side had Scarlet Witch. A fully powered Scarlet Witch is equivalent to the reality gem, but on a planetary basis.

True... in theory she should be the most powerful one? But in the films she has been very situational. Hard to say what they want to do with her power level other than "do necessary things to advance the plot". She seems to vary quite a lot.

At her highest level, she can wish them out of reality, and they'd be gone until she brings them back. And she could make everyone forget they existed. She controls chaos magic, which is why her power level varies. You could see with the Vision, she was able to increase his density and put him through the ground. And Vision can turn intangible!

In her later years, if memory collects, she had training from Dr. Strange, and that is what made her OP. At this point, she's just using her mutant power to manipulate energy, with formal training, she was actually casting spells.

Someone explains to Lyrical that the MCU is/may not be a literal translation of the comics, power level included? Meaning that details from the comics are not relevant when comparing power levels of the two sides in this movie.

Well, if you want to be nerdy, her highest level is no longer attainable, it was only b/c she wanted her pretend-a-kids back and she asked Dr Doom to help her out and he used something to overcharge her w/ energies (cuz she's like a natural conduit or something), that she can re-shape reality.

Since that retcon she's only got probability affecting and some magical powers, some chaos magic. (her original powerset, after the "hexes" fix)

Whereas in MCU she is seemingly Jean Grey Phoenix minor power set.

Uh, she was very clearly using the mind gem to manipulate Vision's density control, I don't see how anyone could have missed that.

You are making my point for me. That just means Iron Man's side could be weaker also. Or someone on Cap's side could be stronger. Basically, go fuck yourself.
