Had 17 normal with a couple undergeared. Only got Gruul... We had an undergeared tank which is definitely a big problem, however we went to Hanz next and the stamp was a problem for folks. Saturday crew keep this in mind on Hanz: stamp (as far as I can tell) does not hit the same spot twice, so if you run to where it hit previously you should be good.
I believe from the video that I've watched that there is a pattern to it, although I've only watched one video.

I just want us to have fun and not get frustrated, so hopefully everyone comes on saturday knowing we're switching from a primarily "farm status" run to progression run.

Seen a few sign-ups that are undergeared, I'm going to have to change their invite status accordingly. If you are one of them, no offense, we have an ilvl minimum now and certainly can't carry anyone in the beginning.

I did a test-run with a guild last night and we 1-shot Hanz; it was my first time seeing the encounter and we had a heavy carry paladin. The environment obviously requires some movement sense but I think if you as the RL make sure to specify to people that there is no tight enrage timer on Normal, just take time and move sensibly, then everything will be okay. Similar to Twin Ogron. People get too caught up with their DPS rotation when they need to just practice a new encounter.

Funny you mention Twin Ogron. Our first few weeks in Heroic I told people not to worry about DPS at all, just live. Seeing the raid wipe on the first quake fire was just something I didn't understand.

Noodle, you decide the order of bosses we are going after? I've read all the fights, but would like to take special care to learn as much as I can about the ones we know we are really trying. So I can help out what little I might be able to.

Not really sure, there have been a bunch of ideas floating around. Originally I just wanted to go Gruul > Ore > Furnace, but I feel like Furnace is sounding really difficult.

Something to keep in mind: only the final boss in wing 1 drops tier tokens. Second and third boss in the other two wings both drop tier. This makes Oregorger even more of a waste of time.

My advice is still to clear Black Forge (T17 chest/helm), kill Darmac and Thogar (T17 shoulders), then kill Gruul. Take a shot at Oregorger with any remaining time. You could kill Gruul first and backtrack, but the trash is harder than the boss so I would just save the hassle for the end.

We can do that, I think that's a good plan.

I'm not even joking, I have handwritten notes

For those not in the know, that is:

Hanscock > Flamebender > Kromog > Darmac > Thogar > Gruul > Oregorger > etc.

I do that too (notes) especially for stuff like keeping track of talent and glyph switches for specific fights. There wasn't much of that in HM, but there's a bunch of places in BRF where certain things are situationally useful.

The fight difficulty is all over the board for the new bosses.

Some, like Orerapist, are better off being skipped at first.

What do you need your bathroom for? Shitbucket, man. Mom will even be there to empty it for you.
