My issue towards new tanks on Fridays is if we have two fresh new tanks that need to learn the fight. That's why I was bitching the other week. If we have at least 1 knowledgeable tank who can work with the new person that is just fine.

2 new tanks = we don't kill harder bosses.

I'll throw it out there again that my guild does N BRF (off to a rocky 3/10 start) Sundays 8:30 - 11:30pm CST and H HM (5/7 pretty much on farm now) Wednesday in the same timeslot. Unfortunately I only have slots for DPS at the moment and you probably need to be 650ish so that may not help the newly returned folks much.

Full disclosure it can be a bit chatty and is more laid back than the Saturday run even, but on the good side of that no one will yell at you or anything and most have a good sense of humor. Mostly 30+ in age just playing to have fun.

Add alavaz#1973 if interested.

is there a cheapo 640ish trinket I can grab just to bump my ilvl a bit still using a 620 trink, haven't had any luck on trinks dropping only one so far got ninjaed off beastlord, hopefully this week will be a little nicer, just wanna hit 660.

I had asked if could change my forum name to Alavaz since that's my game name. JTheRuler is my ancient FoH name that made 12ish years ago and don't even remember why at this point. I think it was actually supposed to be JaTheRuler but I fat fingered it... Yes I liked Ja Rule. It's murdahhhh

Gonna start streaming our raids. One night this week I'm going to set it up, it worked one day but then it just stopped working. Using OBS if anyone knows how to capture WoW with it (doesn't seem to like WoW64). Hopefully I can figure out how to put the rerolled label over the chat log because LOL PEOPLE COMPLAIN ABOUT OTHERS and I don't want any drama.

Been giving some serious thought to what we should focus on on Saturday. I know the thought of Highmaul heroic came up, but I'm wondering if 670 poorly itemized gear > 665 mostly better itemized gear. Plus tier loot in BRF.

I really think if we want to get progression going we need to make a beeline for the Iron Maidens and just work on them. Or should we sacrifice a week by doing 7 bosses and gearing up and MAYBE hitting the Iron Maidens?

Iron Maidens quickly becomes a lot easier than it looks, but it's a slow fight to rep because of the length.

With only one raid day a week, it'd probably come down to a vote or something if you want to farm vs progress.

Gear wise, I think skipping Slagworks entirely and probably doing Black Forge first then going to Iron Assembly would be a good move. That's 3 shots at tier assuming we kill the bosses we've already killed and possibly a 4th with Maidens.

I was thinking this too. I think the only big-ticket item that drops is the staff from Gruul, but I'm not sure. Just want to make sure we keep our eye on the prize
