Saturday needs it's own set of tanks/healers, once that is established it should be pretty easy to keep a weekly normal raid going on the weekend.
We'll see how long these guys raiding 4 or 5 nights a week will actually last before they burnout anyway, in typical rerolled fashion

Holy offspec or tank? I think for tank the only difference is the jewelry and off slots like me. Really easy to do both.

It really depends on what we need. DPS/Ret is by far my least experienced playstyle in the MMO genre.

Last night you guys saw what happened when we brought 3 alts, shit just is rough until we gear up enough to carry. Ill always be on for Weds raids to tank or dps since my chick teaches at night during the week its perfect for me. The Saturday it would be nice to have set tanks for since on weekends she is usually in the same room with her friends and I tend to be more social AFKing a shit ton.
Pugging is also awesome if you have weird hours. I did some early morning raids that went really well, that tool is pretty cool and there is a good amount of people running every mob.

Mine isn't really an alt in terms of ilvl. Both characters are the same at the moment (635) and can each equip another crafted item if I can ever decide which slot to make. Plus the DK should be getting Highmaul raid missions this week now that I've fixed most of the damage the faction change did to my followers. Tanking it shouldn't be a problem, at least not because of gear. Unholy is fine too if we just need bodies.

Hell I ran normal twice last week just to hang and for a chance at trash loot (and won a belt, rah) I also used another bonus roll on Braken to try to get a bow. It was fun but I'm certainly not ready to level up an alt any time soon.
Maybe I'll try to get a pug imperator for laughs today. I'm sure it will be a terrific waste of time. Maybe better off trying to get heroic for the free Kargath loots, but I'm only 644. I probably won't make the cut over people I out dps by 30% or more.

Imperator fight is horrible for pugs. All it takes is one idiot hitting a mine and the run is over.
It is a 12 min fight that requires people to play well at the current gear level.

I dropped when they got to Ko'garh because I didn't feel like wiping anymore while carrying bad dps. Tectus was rough for this crew. My ret paladin is Sorrows in these logs.

They wanted to run it early so we went as 4 to their 16, their MT's both had like 5-6 items that were blue. Pretty much everyone in their raid died to the cat mechanic or to the bombs that come out in mythic. The guild leader who is trying to recruit us all to his guild then came into mumble to apologize, it was a laugh.
Just be glad none of you came, it was a total waste of time.

I'm not sure if you guys do the Attack on Shattrath group quest for Apexis dailies or not, but if you are or want to actually solo it, there's an easy way to pull it off. If you get into the residential area, just keep an eye on the groups that are clearing stuff. In those home areas, there's scrolls and notes lying all over the place. Most people just completely ignore them, since they don't stick out too well. The scrolls have a fireball that spin around them, but the notes are completely normal looking. You can click on them and they give decent hits to the Shattrath bar.
I bang out the Shatt group quest in no time because of it, trickiest part is just getting into that area without being murdered.
