Seriously, the forum guild is doing great and we are raiding once a week pretty consistently and having good online attendance daily. That's coming from a guy that's been forced to playing ultra casually but I'm hoping things will clear soon.

the wowdb stats for theplate helmaren't very good for a prot pally, my goggles were worth it bitches~
mind you i had to reroll them to mastery though.. (they originally had those exact stats minus the +fire resist)

Uh, what raids are being run? There aren't any out right now. Assuming you're referring to MoP content, I wouldn't really call that anything close to the resemblence of a raid. It was super old content and it was mostly being carried.

Yeah, it's unfortunate that Blizzard felt the need to keep the stats the same as the old item. Crit and haste are practically worthless to blood, and they are the two of the worst stats for unholy too according to sims. Still don't see myself making goggles unless I end up with nothing better to craft after the first week of Highmaul, since the extra armor and str gained from crafting something that isn't already ilvl 640 will be more of a benefit.
I guess my huntard will be happy though. :/

Well with interest in Archeage waning, thinking about picking up WoW for the first time since WotLK. Played for maybe two weeks since that era and have no idea where to start. Any recommendations/advice? Husband was talking about rerolling from level 1 since his account was hacked like 2 years ago and we have no clue what is on it these days.
Not sure if you're aware lindz, but when you apply the latest expansion to your account you get the ability to boost one of your characters to level 90.
I'd be tempted to both boost a char to lvl 90, get your Garrisons rolling then start new toons from lvl 1 to lvl together. Use refer a friend to start a new account and you get something like triple XP

They should make dungeons drop 2 pieces of loot instead of one if they plan on keeping this whole "no personal loot in pugs anymore" loot system
i'd rather not get anything personally then run into a dungeon and literally nobody gets anything useful because only int cloth drops with NBG

Warlock leveling spec? Does it matter? If it doesn't matter, should I go Destro since that's the high DPS tree to get used to it for raiding? Is that spec actually the top DPS for locks considering the lack of movement?

I'm leveling as destro, but I don't think it really matters when you're leveling. My other spec was demon and destro seems a bit faster with trash mobs. Both are fine for elites/named. On paper destro is top DPS(for a lock), but if you're moving around a lot, it kind of takes a nosedive. I haven't done much dungeon crap yet, though.
