We do give a shit going forward about the two sides of Les Miles. The lovable side the media and non LSU fans fall in love with and the side where after the game he comes out and blames his players, the side where he sits some of our best players for a game with no explanation like Sheppard last night, the side where he seems to forget games have a clock. If this happened occasionally or every other year nobody would care. It happens enough the TAF (the people who pay his salary) gave him a clock to hang around his neck ala Flavor Flav.

There are many facets to being coach, and in game decisions and time management Les is a failure. The other aspects of the game he excels at and those are the ones that carry him thru most games but it's painful to watch multiple games a year where the ONLY talk after the game is about Miles. This isn't the Les Miles show. Coaches come and go. I've seen a lot of them at LSU since the early 70's. This is LSU football where Miles is hired to coach and one day he won't be coach and the program will go on.

He wouldn't last 3 games at Oregon. You think Oregon is going to put up with a coach that after a game with less than a 100 yards of offense says "I thought we did well on offense and really moved the ball."

Les doesn't need to get fired, he does need reeling in from the AD who just bends over to him. Put some pressure to get a quality OC in there. Our current OC wasn't even an OC but got promoted when our real OC got parkinsons disease and couldn't continue.

When you start bleeding sophomore on offense who would rather sit out a year you have a problem and Les needs to get it under control.

To answer your question it's on the SEZ and will soon be on the NEZ which just started last month (South End Zone expansion and North End Zone expansion). As to why I can't fire Miles is because I am only one person and while I donate for the SEZ and NEZ expansions I no longer give directly to the TAF (The group that pays Miles salary except for his $400k base from the university). Since Miles has been at LSU they have implimented a new way the money is worked thru the TAF. In prior years you donated your money to the TAF and they spent it, the people who donated more had more pull obviously. Now, after Miles you donate to the program you want to donate to or expansion project. My family only donates now to the stadium project and the baseball program which funded the new baseball stadium and have decided we will no longer donate to the fund that pays the salary of a coach and that goes for any coach regardless of sport and not just Miles and that will be moving forward with or without Miles as head coach.

Is your team losing quality talented players at the sophomore level who would rather set out a year because the coach can't explain why some of the most talented seniors sat on the bench the entire game, two bowl games in a row?

I'm glad I'm entertaining but I'm sure Miles wouldn't last 3 games at a school that expects an actual offense.

See above, is reading that hard for you? It's there because myself and my family cut a check to the TAF (along with several other families and individuals), not because I won the heisman while playing for LSU lol.

But I'm out. LSU lost and it's done for. Look for LSU to squeak out some wins next year as well against team we shouldn't.

I'm going to sit and watch some football today and see how empty the seats are at some of the bowl games.

His family donates money. It's obvious their name is on a big list of names on a plaque somewhere in the stadium, or on a commemorative brick or something like that. Most college and pro teams do the same(especially when renovating a stadium), Mizzou has a bunch of bricks on one end of their stadium with peoples names on it who donated over a certain amount, there's hundreds, if not thousands of them.

I am pissed LSU lost, something Borzak with his name on the stadium and shit didn't seem to care about. Wants Les to be fired and I would be happy for him to come to Oregon? Go romo up some other thread.

No LSU does that for windows in the old dorm windows that are part of the stadium. I think you can get your name on those for as little as $2,500 or $3,000 something like that when they replace them. At one time my dad was in the top 5 for donations to the TAF but in recent years he's really gotten tired of it and now as a family we make minimal donations except for expansions and when they built the new Alex Box baseball field as my dad is a bigger baseball fan for the last 20 years than football. Thru the family business we have a suite but kept our old season tickets in the stadium but the PSL (personal seat license) deal they came up with a while back pretty much ticked my dad off about that as well.

Right now they are doing a refit to the north end zone which is basically just cleaning up the gates and courtyard areas to make them match the new sound endzone expansion. LSU is physically out of room for any real expansions on the north side as the PMAC (the basketball arena) is in the way and the ramps to it.

The AD keeps floating an expansion deal for more suites but the ones we have aren't currently sold out, another issue is our AD currently has no boss. He is also vice chancellor at LSU and the university doens't have a president or chancellor currently.

Another thing that rubbed dad the wrong way was the hiring of our current AD, for those that don't know he was the AD at Duke who pushe dout their lacrosse coach and then the allegations against the lacrosse team were dropped. Even tho I know a fair number of insiders at LSU I'm not really sure how we wound up with him.

Donations to the TAF from my dad, myself, and our business were almost always looked at as investments. You don't do heavy chemical plant and refinery work in the Baton Rouge area without being a member of the TAF. It's just not done. You don't do business without entertaining people at tailgate parties at home games etc...It's not like we are some great family that donates billions to the university or charities.

The good news is the poor turnout for so many bowls this year may be a bigger push to redo them with the upcoming 4 team playoff and/or expand the playoff.

Damn these SEC defenses are amazing. Georgia has Nebraska on lock down. Holding that amazing offense to 24 points in the first half is something to be proud of. Not to mention Miss St holding the mighty Northwestern Pussycats to 27 points after 3 quarters.

I cannot wait for the spread to take over the SEC so we can stop with this great defense nonsense.
