LSU had a rushing team with 124 yards tonight. One of which was for 57 yards on 1 play. If that is a rushing team my ass is on fire. You say it was because Miles went away from it. I say Clemson would have destroyed them other wise. Clemson was stopping the run otherwise. You like to think Miles is at fault but it was the defense who even kept them in the game. LSU's offense has been suspect all year, losing 2 games already. I actually thought they could pull out a win vs Clemson. Fuck me on that one.

Apparently you don't know shit about football and even less about LSU football. LSU didn't run the ball like we have all year, of course our running stats are going to be shit.

LSU beats teams one way. Play good defense and run the ball even if it has no effect thru the first half and literally beat a defense in the 4th quarter to where they give up. We didn't do that, we didn't do that last year either. LSU didn't move away from the run in the game, LSU never ran in the game. When you pass the ball 3 times in a row in an effort to get 2 yards when you have 4 top quality RB's and a FB who could have done it as well then you have a playcalling problem, especially when the point of the drive was to kill the clock - why is that so hard to understand? You fall on the ball or run the ball 3 times = you WIN. That's no speculation as long as you don't fumble. That's not a what if, that's a simple clock math problem.

Zach threw more pass attempts tonight than he had all year. That's why we went 3 and out so many times.

Even his team knows he called bad plays. Already on twitter they are saying "Great job coach, way to dick us on not running out the clock"

Toss left, toss right. Boring as hell but it's what LSU does best and what got them to a title game and in the top 10 this year.

Look at this idiot. 2 minutes left. Clemson has 3 time outs. If you run it 3 times. Clemson gets the ball with ~1:30 and no timeouts.

In this case, they got the ball with 1:30 and all their time outs. And Jooka is defending it.

LSU is a running team, everyone knows that.

LSU ran the ball 1 time in the 4th quarter. Hill who had the most yardage for LSU in the game got zero carries in the 4th quarter.

Let's see, LSU was ahead in the 4th quarter the entire time till the last play, the goal was to run the clock down and keep the defense off the field to rest and we ran the ball 1 time for a total net of 1 yard. There's no way to defend that. A coach couldn't have picked a worse strategy than that. The passing game wasn't racking up first downs, so even 3 plays of sitting on the ball with zero yardage would have resulted in more time off the clock. The play calling in the 4th quarter accomplished nothing for LSU. They literally could have sat down on the ball every play and came out better.

Man at the empty seats in the Gator bowl. Guess that answers my own question I had when someone posted a pic on FB that had Gator bowl tickets sold here on the front of a Dollar store lol.

Because I told you most LSU fans didn't give a shit about the peach bowl, which we don't as evidenced by the turnout of the fans. Much of that was directed at the SEC comissoner who actively and publicly lobbied to have LSU move down a bowl selection. He went to the Peach/Chicken shit bowl and the Cotton bowl and lobbied that LSU would travel better to Atlanta than A&M so they should pick us and at that time A&M would have been matched up against UT in the Cotton bowl which he thought was a dream scenario...then Oklahoma got in because the big east couldn't get a team ranked above #16 and Oklahoma lost their BCS bid.

We do give a shit going forward about the two sides of Les Miles. The lovable side the media and non LSU fans fall in love with and the side where after the game he comes out and blames his players, the side where he sits some of our best players for a game with no explanation like Sheppard last night, the side where he seems to forget games have a clock. If this happened occasionally or every other year nobody would care. It happens enough the TAF (the people who pay his salary) gave him a clock to hang around his neck ala Flavor Flav.

The side of Miles who has lost control of his players. Looking at todays announcements we are losing at least 6-8 juniors to the draft. We are losing 2 sophomores who have annoucned they will either transfer or sit out and then apply to the draft becaus they aren't eligible as sophomores. Players don't trust the coach and that's a bad sign. It's a bad sign when current players tweet they don't understand how the coach can make X call such as not downing the ball and running the clock out. CLM may be the most brilliant coach and playcaller in the world, but if you can't convince your own players of it you are fighting a losing battle. We're talking about a coach that beat Auburn, Ole Miss, Arkansas all by less than a touchdown this year. This is what aggravates fans, it's a pattern of making the game close to satisfy some need he has to make it come down close. We're talking about a coach who was losing to Towson at half and then barely beat them out at the end. A coach who in a close loss tried a fake punt on 4th and 15 on our own 35.

There are many facets to being coach, and in game decisions and time management Les is a failure. The other aspects of the game he excels at and those are the ones that carry him thru most games but it's painful to watch multiple games a year where the ONLY talk after the game is about Miles. This isn't the Les Miles show. Coaches come and go. I've seen a lot of them at LSU since the early 70's. This is LSU football where Miles is hired to coach and one day he won't be coach and the program will go on.

I doubt Miles even hires a new offensive coordinator which is just icing on the cake. LSU doesn't need to fire Miles, but he does need to straighten up and stop trying to make games come down to the last drive against even scrub division II teams.

As far as fair weather fan, whatever. I bet I've been to more road games to cheer my team on as far away as Washington state than you have been to home games in your life.

The orange bowl tickets were cheaper to buy than the price to mail them, some were $1.
