Because most LSU fans and at least some of the team don't care. What does LSU prove by beating Clemson? Not much.

LSU has played in Atlanta several times over the last few years in the Peach Bowl and the SEC championship game so no excitement there. LSU didn't sell out its tickets because many fans were ticked at the SEC Comissioner who sold them off into this game after he lobbied the Cotton to skip LSU and pick A&M ahead of LSU. There was already bad blood when Mike Silve managed to let Alabama drop Georgia off their schedule this year and next year in the crossover schedule during conference expansion.

Then throw in the fact LSU is the highest ranked team to play in a December bowl game - EVER. Just not a lot of excitement.

This is the first bowl game that either me or my dad won't be making since before I was born and I'm 42.....nobody in our suite went that I am aware of and normally it's 90% or more out of them.

Seriously? That's the biggest complaint against Miles is that he always plays down to his competition like barely beating Towson and Auburn. Works great against top ranked teams and not so much against teams we should blow out.

That was the worst USC game I've ever seen. Kiffin needs to figure something out and quickly or he's done next year after giving up his Dad as an excuse this year.

A friend of mine who went to the Chicken bowl called earlier and said some guys had a sign that took 2 people to hold at the gate that read "WVU SCORES AGAIN". LOL.

Its a conservative christian-owned chicken sandwich place that is closed on Sundays. Chicken sandwiches, chicken nuggets/strips, thats it. No burgers or anything else, and their spicy chicken sandwich isn't even as good as Wendys. No clue why they are so popular.

I dont really eat fast food much, to many local foods around to not hit it up. I live in a small town so while we do have some fast food the local trailers just blow them away completely.

No the shit gets old when your coach lives for it, Miles rather win by 2 points than blow a team out by 30. It happens all the time. No reason LSU shouldn't be up 2 or more touchdowns on Clemson. That's exaclty why we scrape by teams like Towson and Auburn and manage to get by teams like A&M and USCe - happens every year.

This is a lot like last years championship game, play one style of offense all year and then when you get to the bowl game you come out with an entirely new game plan and playcalling. Miles thinks he will confuse the other team but what happens is the offense comes out even more flat than normal.

Like right now - why the fuck THROW the ball 3 times in a row when you are trying to run the fucking clock out and need 2 yards for a first when we are an AWESOME running team? I'm sorry if you think that is "Good Football"

This game will come down to if Clemson can score and if they don't manage to Miles will run off with a grin bigger than shit and talk about how great the game was, but if LSU won by 30+ points he wouldn't smile has as much.

Can you not read? I said LSU should have stayed up by 2 touchdowns which was easily doable with decent playcalling. I said Miles rather win by 2 over winning by 30 (which we never see) against anyone, not Clemson.

If you watch LSU every week this is what irritates the shit out of LSU fans, play down to your competition and make it squeak by. It doesn't matter if we are playing a division II team (which suprise we barely squeaked by earlier in the year) we never win by 30 points we squeak by on the last drive. Then we turn it up against good teams and squeak by there as well until it backfires.

But it happens ALL THE TIME with Miles. He has to make it close regardless of who you are playing. I literally think Miles has some deal where he gets off on having a game come down to the last play or last drive rather than some other coaches who rather just beat the living shit out of you and win by multiple touchdowns. It happens week in and week out.
