Call me crazy but, the line of scrimmage is on the 32 1/2, 1st and 10 and they get the ball to the 43 yard line. Seems like the yellow line is incorrect by a yard 1/2?

Maybe so, still seems odd they didn't measure considering it was the drive that almost changed the outcome of the game.

Same drive they wound up stopping the clock on a pass that wasn't a first down. They stopped the clock and ran out there and then said ooops it wasn't a first and reset with a stopped clock like it was a first down.

Maybe they wanted to go to sleep considering these games are now starting at 9pm local time.

Kind of screwy the official "scoring" has it listed as an 11 yard completed pass, from the 33 to the 44. He clearly gets to the 43, but not the 44.

Was a first down regardless, but the ball shouldn't have been spotted at the 44.

Guess they counted where the ball went when he turns it stretches out. I still want to hear the official answer from the SEC next week on stopping the clock on a non first down pass. Then they huddled around and started the play like ummmm OK we forgot what we were doing.

I don't know what they do in football but in college baseball the "offical" scorer is a panel of 3 provided by the home team and at least one of them is almost always a writer that just covers that team lol. Of course they don't impact the score but call if it was an error or a hit etc...

Man Mizzou looked like shit in the 1st half. Threw 3 dumb interceptions, all on our own side of the field putting Ark St in field goal range to start their drives.

Finally got serious in the second half and outscored them 14-3(once again giving them 3 points by giving them an int in field goal range)

Most worrisome though is that our starting RB is hurt and our backups are all total dogshit. I've never seen a more inept group of players than our backup RBs. They can't run, can't catch, can't block. I bet or backup RBs didn't average even 2 yards per carry.

Honorable craptacular mention goes to our WRs who had at least 7-8 drops in the game. 1 was a sure TD and the rest killed drives. Every drop was a 15+ yard reception (one was a 30+yard TD)

Worst game we have played in years, it's a miracle we got out of there with a win.

Dude I'm so sick of coaches who's assholes pucker up like a baby's when they get a lead. We go up 17-0 and call two first down passes the rest of the game. We get 5 possessions inside their territory and don't score another point. We had 1 receiver catch more than one pass. We got a lead and they tried to sit on it for 35 minutes. Fucking retarded.

This is a good football team and the defense played great, but they spent the entire second half on the field because all the offense would do is run run incomplete pass.

Did anyone see the game where the ball got hiked about 8 feet to high to a punter? I saw it briefly on an update, but can't remember who it was. I think I remember them saying the the hiked ball traveled further than any completed pass for that team on that day.

I want to find it and laugh some more. it was hilarious to watch.

Sounds like Texas is going to be looking for a new AD real soon

Texas Longhorns Football, Basketball, and Recruiting Front Page

The sources told HornsDigest.com one of Fenves' top concerns is the number of donors - small and large - who have expressed they will no longer give to athletics as long as Patterson is in place."

"Those complaints have come from dozens of angry donors, including some of Texas' top givers, sources said. Those donors feel Patterson is running UT like a cold, unfeeling pro sports franchise that views UT faithful as faceless customers - not passionate alums.
As a result, 10,000 football season ticket holders didn't renew for 2015 after an average cost increase of 21.5 percent, coming off a 6-7 season and a five-year record of 36-28.

That would be a good thing. Should have hired Oliver Luck the first time. At least Patterson hired Smart.

Texas firing its AD today. Glad they realized he was a terrible hire and quickly moved to remedy.
