Here comes yet another 48-45 or so Big12 game. Oklahoma/Oklahoma St is a track meet.
You mean a blowout? Gratz OU, how the fuck did we beat you?

Wait, lose to Texas in order for Strong to keep his job and still make the playoffs. GG Stoops, that is next level coaching.

OU has played like a different team since they lost. Their offense really turned around from that game. Looking pretty tough right now.

Yeah. Notre Dame might win this game, though even that is doubtful at this point, but they're not getting to the playoffs. Shit play. Some pretty bad calls against them, too. Ah, well. Pretty good season for the Irish.
I'm right there with ya re okie state. Great, if not lucky season for the boys. OU definitely best in big 12, now go and win the whole thing.

Holy shit! Les Miles to return next year per LSU AD

That was a clusterfuck of misinformation of epic proportions

LSU athletic director Joe Alleva: "I want to make it very clear that Les Miles is our football coach & he'll continue to be our football coach."

Yep I'll take it.

11-2 or 10-3 without GNC kid and a new coach ? Waaaay better than expected and we were correctly ranked out of the top ten weeks ago next to a two loss FSU.

I said it 9 weeks ago. Fucking stoked for the future.

Yup - I was thinking Florida would've been under .500 by the end of the year with having a new coach that came from a small(er) school. But he's done a tremendous job overall, but it is the SEC afterall, they are lesser of a conference compared to the Big East (I kid, I kid).

There is an "understanding" and some changes will take place between now and next year. Also the AD has a pretty hot seat as well now.

We'll see if they pan out.

I didn't watch the game, but at the end I walked in to talk to my dad. He noticed something really odd. Les didn't recognize his own daughter when she came up to him after the game.

Guessing some coaching changes? Only thing LSU really has is football & baseball. So far, their basketball team had a lot of hype but is falling flat already (but there is a lot of potential there, it's still early).

I didn't ask dad because I didn't want to know. He just said they had an understanding about some concerns. I don't wanna know because I'll either get pissed that they are incredibly dumb or be pissed they won't follow thru.

He did say if TAF had the pull with the AD that they have with miles the AD would never had been hired and if hired wouldn't have lasted long. He's the one that keeps saying it's "wrong" of LSU to ask for waivers to wear white and such from other SEC teams. Who do you work for? He also said the same thing in the pat about 7pm starts at home. WTF.

I predict exactly nothing will change or have any impact outside of PR crap. Somehow between the 2 of them they borked the Chavis deal so bad he left and is sueing us. It's a case of he said/she said about when to sign the contract etc..

Dad pointed out he asked the name of the girl that is his daughter tho.

Nice try, but this OU team plays defense. So now that we have beaten three 10 win teams (two of those on the road and ranked in the top 11) tell me why Bama should still be ranked ahead of us?

I think OU has a shot. They seem to be a tough team. Would love another non SEC champ.

Go Gators indeed.

Good luck committee figuring this shit out if Florida, Michigan State and North Carolina all win.

Would love for Florida to beat Bama during the SEC championship, would likely result in 0 SEC teams in playoff. But of course, they'd find a way to get one in and leapfrog 10+ teams to do so

TBH, the SEC East was pretty shitty this year. 4 of the 7 teams are sub .500. Only 3 teams from the East will make bowl games this year. Last year 5 of the 7 teams made bowls and there were 2 10+ game winners (Mizzou & Georgia)

People liked to joke that the East was down the last two years when Missouri won it, but it's honestly down this year. You can always expect Vandy and Kentucky to suck but if multiple teams besides those two are missing bowls it really is a bad year.

3 of 7 East teams will make bowls this year. 7 of 7 West teams are bowl eligible.
