He really isn't that good. The thing is, I want him to stay because he does recruit very well and we'd probably lose quite a bunch if he were to leave. We've finally broken into the top 25 recruit rankings for next year, we've never done that before.

Kyler Murray at Texas A&M is such a dumbass. So it is nearly official that he is transferring, but in doing so, he is violating his 'letter-of-intent' and has to sit out 2 years before he plays again. Hike up your bootstraps you entitled twat and play fucking football.

The NLI is a binding agreement between a prospective student-athlete and an NLI member institution.
* Prospective student-athlete agrees to attend the institution full-time for one academic year (two semesters or three quarters).
* Institution agrees to provide athletics financial aid for one academic year (two semesters or three quarters).

Basic Penalty for not fulfilling the NLI agreement: Serve one year in residence (full-time two semesters or three quarters) at the next NLI member institution and lose one season of competition in all sports.

And that does not necessarily read as missing two years. A NCAA rule is poorly written, shocking.

Speculation going on right now that Texas A&M is in the process of firing Sumlin. Per sources, Sharp is going to try to fire him and get his buyout lowered for cause. AD likely to be terminated along with Sumlin

I was looking forward to playing them end of the month. Now, I have no interesting in playing them due to the circus show that is going on over the last week or so.

They are trying to reduce the buyout payment in half by firing him for cause. So he must have done something that supposedly goes against his employment contract to allow them to somewhat reduce the amount owed.
