Texas just wants out of the conference so they won't agree to an extension of the granting of rights. Everything else is pointless window dressing. We should take TTech, OU, and OSU and join the Big 10 for the first ever POD conference.

Really, Texas should join the SEC with OU but alas.

They only thing I would change is Kansas instead of Tech since they have a better basketball program and fuck Tech.

The Big 12 is only seen as failing because conferences are generally judged by the power teams who should be in the national championship conversation. Since we have joined, Baylor has been a thousand times better than shitty Texas or OU. Its hilarious to hear fans of these two teams cry about getting out when they are getting run the fuck over by CUSA teams like Houston. How about stop sucking balls and actually pull your fucking weight?

The whole move to 12 thing most retards dont understand, is that it was a MONEY decision. Conferences knew that since per NCAA rules that you had to have 12 teams to have a CCG, and the money that would bring along with that game would be huge which was the main factor that drove expansion. This was mainly pushed by the ACC at that time strategically to get teams like Miami and FSU to play, and the leverage that would create with TV deals. It was about money, not competitiveness. The B12 has it better as far as a true champion goes because generally when you play every team in your conference, then why do you need a championship game? It makes sense when every team doesnt play one another and you have separate divisions, but the whole system is fucked.

I wish the schools would ditch the NCAA, and reboot the entire system just to fix things where rivalries and geography matter more. Alas, we wont see anything like this.

Of course this is all about the money. Not a single person has spun it any other way. The anti-Big XII people in here correctly understand that the asshole schools have sacrificed the quality of football in the conference to increase their payday and we don't agree with the decision as it is fucking short sighted. I could give a flying fuck about more money to split amongst girls track and coed rowing. The more successful OU is on the football field, the more the donors donate and the more those worthless sports get anyways.

I also don't give a fuck about propping up historically crappy teams like WVU, Baylor, and Iowa State. Good luck in CUSA, MAC, or whatever shit tier conference will take your team once this abortion of a conference finally dies. College football certainly won't care, while OU and Texas will be fielding invites wherever they want to go.

The Big XII fucked up when they decided to play small ball and allowed OU and UT to flirt with PAC 12 while simultaneously agreeing to let UT have their own network. A truly visionary conference would have gone out and picked up FSU, Miami, WVU, and Louisville to create the Big XVI and have a west coast pod to mitigate travel. That should've been appealing enough to UT to stop them from creating the Longhorn network in favor of a new conference one and would have saved us the exits of NU, A&M, CU, and UM. Three other pods would've been North (ISU, UM, CO, NU); Mid (OU, OSU, KU, KSU); and Texas (UT, A&M, Tech, BU). That would've been a conference worth supporting.

That's kind of the point. I never expect us with 2-3 star recruits to go deep, though we generally perform far above our talent level.....something your school knows little of in recent years. You and Texas are a joke, and the whole blahblah donate the more you win.....well that has nothing to do with the conference you are in. You should be winning NOW, but once again you are a joke, along with Texas......and your dipshits in charge at OU have made everything far worse.

CUSA. MAC, AAC etc. Given your embarrassing shit stomping at the hands of almighty fucking Houston, I'd say you belong there more than we do.

Either one of these scenarios works for me. We went to OU from 1999-2003 and Nebraska wasn't much of a rival even then since we didn't play them every year.

I'm neutral between the two, honestly. Either is a giant step up from the current situation, though. SEC plays better football but the Big Ten is close and also has the rivalry.

Hahahahah. Like I give a shit what a WVU fan thinks about OU. I specifically addressed the leadership selling out, but to act like OU is some kind of joke is just laughable. We are by far the most successful team in the Big XII since it's founding which actually matters since there was a time when it was the best league in the country. I seriously wish that everyone would have been smart and kept the league together instead of having to invite reject schools to fill in for previous powers. In the end, once the league finally implodes, OU and TX will be just fine and your shithole also-ran will fade away.
