A&M at 4 is a complete joke and yet again proves of a SEC bias. I'd put Washington at 4, OSU 5, L'ville 6, A&M 7. I'd say A&M should jump L'ville if they win out, so I am not totally bias. L'ville & OSU could easily flip-flop due to CURRENT wins/losses, so really hard to judge those 2 teams at this moment. We lost against top 10 Clemson, Ohio State lost against an unranked but won against a now unranked OU (but a committee ranked somehow w/ wins over #21 TCU and bottomfeeders?) whereas we won against a team still ranked and also ranked in the playoff committee. We (L'ville) played mediocrely against DUke and UVA, but it is not like some of the other 1 loss teams didn't have any scary wins against inferior competition (ie: OSU vs. Northwestern).
What a clusterfuck the committee is. Wouldn't suprise me if a 2 loss SEC, or 2 loss Big 10 gets in at the end.
Either way, if we won out and Lamar wins the Heisman and we get in a New Year 6 bowl (Orange for instance), i'll be incredibly happy since I never expected us to be in the CFP anyways. We've vastly outperformed our recruiting rankings. If Lamar continues with his stats, he may become one of the best modern-day college QBs if not player in general.
