I just FINALLY finished Ultimate Hulk vs. Wolverine. It was a issue arc. Issues 1 and 2 were in 2006, issue's 3-6 were in 2009. I quit collecting comics (mostly) prior to the final 4 issues. I just now read them in CBR format, and I really liked it. I just thought I would share that.

I'm still loving Injustice. Just wish there was more to it.

I kind of love non-Canon Superman stories almost as much as I don't care about main continuity Superman stories. Kingdom Come and Red Son are two of my favorite DC comics. Anyone got other good suggestions for Elseworlds Supes that are on par with these? Superman with his powers but not acting like normal boring Superman is the shit.

Also are there any good Flash ones?

It was so rad for a while. Was a great way to use real Marvel characters and to invent new ones, and to kill the shit out of them.

I'm in the midst of my random every-few-months Invincible catch up session and I am reminded of two things.

1: I love Battle Beast.

2: Ryan Ottley's art is perfect for this book.

Invincible is a great series. I love the goofy yet serious mood in it.

Have you tried Saga yet? It's only like 20 issues in, but it's a home run.

Nope. Haven't started any new ongoing series aside from Injustice in years. Generally all I read now are short run things when they are finished and one off stuff.

you should do saga, not b/c everyone says it, but b/c they're up to issue 20 now and the first arc finished at 18, so you at least get a nice encompassing story.

I actually have the first 5 or so issues sitting in a stack somewhere, friend told me to try it. Don't own many physical comics myself these days. I'll have to see if I can find it, haven't heard anything but praise for it from the start.


Also just noticed I haven't read an issue of Powers since Volume 3 #11. Series really lost my interest, can anyone tell me if I should catch up? Absolutely loved the first few arcs of that.

Liar cat is a fun character. But realistically, I like almost everyone in this Comic, except for Robot Prince guy. He'll probably serve a purpose later, but I don't know what that is yet aside from Antagonist.

It's not listed as an elseworlds but it is, probably my favorite non-canon Supes story.

Superman Secret Identity by Busiek and Immomen, really good read. Superman for All Seasons by Loeb and Sale is good too.
