When Marvel's Totally Awesome Hulk #1 arrives in stores in December, Amadeus Cho will be filling Bruce Banner's (ginormous) foot steps.

In an in-depth interview with Entertainment Weekly, Marvel editor-in-chief Axel Alonso explains how Marvel decided that Amadeus should take up Banner's mantle, and what it will mean for the future of Marvel: "Come December, arguably the strongest character in the Marvel Universe is going to be Asian-American. And I think that the only person who can dispute that is the female Thor, which I think says a lot about our line."

I just ordered all the volume collections of The Justice League New 52. There are 6 volumes so I picked all those up and then got all 5 of the Flash's too.

I'm just really getting into DC (aside from Batman) and I was really overwhelmed on where to start. so I decided to first read all the reboot stuff and will work back from there.

Amadeus Cho is the best fucking character ever. I never understood why they stopped using him after that amazing Incredible Herc run. I even loved him on that Spider man show where he was like, iron spider or some nonsense.

I also believe Kyle Rayner is the best Green Lantern and Ryan Choi was a great Atom.


Itzena still doesn't get it. It's not about race, it's about content. LEGACY has been part of comic books for decades. We were not the ones in charge to reverse progressiveness and gender/race diversity... Blame Didio and Geoff Johns for that nonsense... at least for the DC side.

The problem is that in the comics, Marvel continues to recycle old ideas (and characters). I can't remember the last time I read an original Marvel story.

the Mantle of the Hulk has never been passed down, sure they created red/she/betty hulks, but not the name. To name a few, Bill Foster and giant man 2, killed by cyber-Thor in Civil War. Rhody was IronMan for a few years, even during original Secret Wars, this was when Stark was drunk all the time. And recently we have gender swap w/ chick-Thor, does anyone not know who it is yet?
Cancer ridden Jane Foster who becomes more cancery when she dons the hammer.

Amadeus has been around for 10 years, i'm pretty sure he was created as a minor deux machina to stop Hulk from smashing,

I was thinking on buying one of my two holy grails for myself for my birthday recently. I looked at them both on ebay in CGC 9.8 because that is what I want.

New Mutants #98 ~ $900
Amazing Spider-Man #129 ~ $13,500

Both are considerably expensive now. Some day if I get real rich I can do it.

Yeah they have a couple high graded ones but no 9.8 on there. LOL at that guy claiming NM+ "GEM GRADE" and he hasn't had it graded professionally and is trying to sell for ~$500

The only 9.8 there is $1k.

Secret Wars is mostly retread. The stories might be new, but we've seen Beyonderworld, we've seen Doom take his power, we've seen Galactus as Doom's bitch, and we've seen House of M, Age of Apocalypse, etc. before.

I think I'm getting sick of Marvel and DC.
