I honestly haven't upgraded to the app, I still just have the g-force experience or whatever the hell it's called. I did read about a bunch of issues happening with that, and I thought maybe I'll update to the newest application and I'm glad I didn't.

Think it was already researched awhile back and its not the app but the recording/overlay portion that is causing the loss if memory serves. Unless somethings changed since then.

Update: just saw the 3rd link mentioned that.
I made certain to at least turn off the overlay G-Force feature within the thing even though I'm not running a new app, I'm trying to make certain to do the most bare Bones install of the older driver, and still nothing.

That's why I think it's just set something weird up, and I've tried to go through every menu in Windows that I can possibly find and try to read on what the different settings do if it's something I wasn't familiar with.

Problem is when eureka stuff online it seems to be kind of all over the place with the issues people are having. I'm not getting games crashing or anything but they definitely stutter or is before no problems whatsoever.

Starfield probably being the last graphics intensive game that I was playing, and when it came out it didn't run very well but that was on their end, then when they patched it a bit it ran smooth as butter. Even it does the weird deal that maybe about every 30 seconds it'll big down.

Could use something like DDU to completely uninstall all display driver files/apps and start clean. Rolling back also a good option if you can to see if the problem persists. Wonder if its how the shaders for the games got compiled between drivers too so looking into how to manually remove cached shaders might be an option also.

C:\Users\[YourUsername]\AppData\Local\CD Projekt Red\Cyberpunk 2077\Cache

Delete the contents. Then, start the game again, which will force it to rebuild the cache.

Are you running MSI afterburner? If you are, see if it’s still running stock clocks and hasn’t randomly locked itself to 25% power limit.

I thought the Nuclear installer deal did that already, didn't use DDU. Guess I need to give that a shot then.

To add on top of this the nvidia shader cache folder looks to be in
C:\Users\<user>\AppData\LocalLow\NVIDIA\PerDriverVersion\DXCache

Don't think so, not even sure what that one is. I'm assuming it's something specific for MSI products maybe?
It's an MSI program that anyone with an nVidia card can use to tweak clock speed, ram speed, power limits, etc.

Check your nVidia app and see if the "Power maximum" is below 100 (mine is 5% below from what I did in Afterburner to overclock a tiny bit and reduce power that wasn't increasing performance).

Hmm I use MSI afterburner on my Power Color 7900XTX Red Devil AMD card with RivaTuner to get FPS readings on games. Not sure it matters what team you choose. What does matter is you get the program FROM MSI and not www.bob's-its-really-the-program-not-a-virus.com because a lot of scammers use the program to give you cooties.
