First thing I would do is try running Netflix in a different browser (Chrome, etc) and see if you can replicate the problem there.

I actually haven't checked, I just know it has to be CPU because it'll lock up anything I'm doing, including simply moving my mouse cursor in windows. Why do you ask, and/or what would either answer matter (I'd like to know more starshiptroopers.jpg)?

Sounds like an issue with Silverlight being a piece of shit, if Netflix still uses that.

Hmm! I'll look into both of those possibilities! I'm pretty sure Netflix still uses silverlight, but not 100%.

Thanks forum bros.

It's usually some sort of shitty software at play. Hell, at this point Hulu only works half the time and usually freezes crashes of course during transitions to ads because they're greedy fucks. Trying to watch anything online that uses Adobe anything? Good luck. Open a tab, click on the video which opens another tab, then click on 'full screen' which opens another window and you can't close the previous tab. Add in freezing up anytime you switch between full screen and/or any ads that start to play. Sucking way more resources than needed (I swear it actually starts a second stream for fullscreen). Makes watching anything online such a chore you wonder if the cable companies aren't paying Adobe to be intentionally shitty.

Unfortunately it often seems to be the combo of Firefox and the other software these days, and I often find myself just using chrome. Hell, even using IE at times is a nightmare navigating but will stream with no problems.

I was using Waterfox for awhile (seemed better than Firefox) but even that has been taking a dump. I went back to Chrome and so far it's working much better. I seem to switch up my browser every 6 months.

I thought Chrome would really be king but there was some reason I switched off of it before that I can't remember.

Probably when they disabled all NPAPI old school plugins with no way to re-enable them and nothing worked.

So I have my asus software and intelburntest temps up in this image. Asus' stuff says my cpu temp is 54C but the Intelburntest says the cores are ranging from 62-76C with the coolest 62-68C and the hottest 70-76C. Can anyone explain the discrepancy? I'm guessing the Asus mobo software AI suite is some sort of aggregate temperature combination of all 4 processors whereas intelburntest is somehow getting temps for each core? Still not real sure why Asus has them at 8 to 22 degrees C lower though.

I've been having this issue in chrome where when I try to open a link in a new tab it closes immediately. If I go in and right click and press "Open in new tab" it works fine. Anyone have any insight on this?

usually that's a ABP issue, try incognito, if that works, it's a plugin.

Just upgraded to Windows 10 and already ragrets.

My video will crash randomly (at least twice a day), and forces me to reboot to restore video. My drivers are all up to date according to my GoForce Experience software.

System's not exactly brand new:

GeForce Experience has been having issues (lately and for-fucking-ever) in Windows 10, it seems. Would recommend uninstalling and reinstalling completely, which is something I end up doing about every other month to get my Shield to actually connect to my PC.
