opening scene:
a black woman is running in a field, at night in the fog, her clothes are torn and she is scared. You can hear dogs barking in the background.
A young, white, well dressed man approaches her.
him: Why did you run, Shaniqua? I was all ready to bring you into my household and love you.
her: I didn't choose to be with you! You forced yourself on to me when we were 14 and you asked me to the autumn ball! I want to run away to where my people are, where I can marry who I want.
him: But... but... I love you, Shaniqua! I'll give you anything! I'll leave my wife and marry you! You can have sex with anyone, I just want to watch!
her: Oh Adolf, you make me happy but I need more in my life. I need to know my heritage, I need to live in a society that does not suffer from the patriarchy.
him: Go then! But you'll regret it. People here lie about what life in the confederacy is like. Sure, we have no free healthcare or welfare or social security and women don't get equal pay, but at least you are free. You'll find out, things could be worse!
Shaniqua crosses the border, and approaches the confederacy guards.
"I'd like to claim asylum as a northern, proud, independent black woman."
guards: Oh, we'll take care of you all right, you uppity Kang SOUND CUTS OFF
