Router is an Orbi. I don't think I changed any DNS settings in it.

And again, I can get to everything just fine on my other computer right next to me which is on the same network.

Edit: Trying changing the DNS manually in my router settings, still same issue.

Open powershell and run 'nslookup plex.direct' and what does it say?

Nevermind, this is a MAC?
No it's a PC.

Not sure if any of that helps. Who is your service provider?
I'll try and read through them and attempt it.

We have Xfinity unfortunately. I've been waiting for Sonic, but they've been in the "planning" phase for about 18 months now.

I actually have my own modem too, it's a Motorola something or other. So I don't have any of the built in Xfinity stuff.

I read through the IPv6 shit, and it's all Greek to me :(

Would probably need how you have things setup and which models specifically. Alternatively, you can just call Comcast and tell them what isn't working and they will fix it for you or tell you how. It shouldn't matter you are using your own equipment.

You may be double-natted or something else funky that is hard to diagnose blind.

Yeah I hate talking to them, cause it is painful, but may need to.

Sweet, there is a new cert and it still throws a message about being unsafe.

It's fixed! So my buddy Ark got on a call with me, disabled IPv6 in my network settings, and everything is functioning fine now. Yay!

Lol - I think people were joking about IPv6 being the potential culprit earlier (because often times it is) and of course it was that.

Yeah I guess I didn't even realize there was a simple checkbox in the network adapter settings. Sure as shit, just unchecked, reboot, and Plex immediately back to normal.

Sweet, it's all fucked up again. I can still see my Plex at least, but it is back to being dumb about downloading updates.

IPv6 option still unchecked in my settings.
