My sister said "it takes 5 days for her to get results", so pretty sure she's lying about being tested. But this chick lives right down the street from me. Don't feel safe in MA.

Even at work we have a massive shortage of protective items/wipes. I am sure they have been swiped and taken home by people.

it's pretty basic human pack behavior made especially bad in a time like this because it is scratching multiple psychological itches at once - it's easy to get frustrated especially with social media making it so in your face, but you can't really blame people for it

It's appropriate to be mad at karens that can't do math buying all the TP though

The TP makes me the most mad. Stuff like meat being sold out and food items I completely understand. The TP is just the most absurd thing I've ever seen.

Best of luck! I know it's extra stressful at this time. My wife just gave birth 2 weeks ago and days after, the news posted they had confirmed Coronavirus patients at that hospital. Think we dodged a bullet, but now we are due to go in for vaccines in a few weeks. The last place I want to be taking little man is to a medical center with the masses.

New job I started yesterday had purchased a pair of the stand up sanitizing stations a few weeks ago, but they "fell off the truck" and never arrived. It's IT so the office isn't closing, but all employees are given free reign to stay home if they need/want to.

As soon as Corona broke out in China we had a ton of stand up stations and germ x everywhere in the office. It was like they knew what was coming.

By the way, it didn't hit me until after... I noticed two weeks ago they started disappearing. I assumed facilities was locking them up but now I'm thinking people just stole them.

Hoarding is basic human behavior no matter how disgusting it is. It's the same as rioting and looting during other emergencies. I see people breaking precautions almost daily where I live. People do stupid stuff all the time. That's the real meaning of being human.
