Don't you only encounter her if you didn't rescue Brick and killed Royce during that Millitech bot mission at the start?
Cyberpunk is based on Hardwired and Blade Runner. Pondsmith didn't even read Neuromancer til after he released the game. He also drew stuff from Bubblegum Crisis which is why I ended up watching that as well.Is cyberpunk based on Johnny Mnemonic or is Johnny Mnemonic based on Cyberpunk?
So I assume Johnny Mnemonic is based off of those too?Cyberpunk is based on Hardwired and Blade Runner. Pondsmith didn't even read Neuromancer til after he released the game. He also drew stuff from Bubblegum Crisis which is why I ended up watching that as well.

In the RPG artificial organs and shit were super expensive compared to just getting cybernetics.Corner stores being replaced by vending machines feels a bit dated... Surprised there's not a 3D printer based supplier device in the game, like the human body printing machine at the end of one of Gibson's novels, sorta like Fallout 4 and Westworld.
Yeah, at this point we're on track for some sort of unholy mash-up of Idiocracy and Demolition Man.It's really hard to imagine North America turning into the Cyberpunk 2077 setting in just 50 years.
So I assume Johnny Mnemonic is based off of those too?
I mean, ask William Gibson? He wrote the story. I don't think he based it off anything since he pretty much made the genre. You fucking nerds really didn't help to clarify
I watched gremlins 2 a few weeks ago and thought "There's no fucking way that 'Clamp' isn't based on Trump". Was watching Johnny Mnemonic today and thought the same thing. Just the plot in general is damn close to CP2077, then there's stuff like the loteks/nomads, Viktor/Henry Rollins.....even the strobe lights in the Ripperdoc chair (before being patched) were in the movie.I mean, ask William Gibson? He wrote the story. I don't think he based it off anything since he pretty much made the genre.
