WB casting has always been top notch, only if you allow them to do the casting without interference.Ok this casting is pretty damn good so far.
Only one I'm kinda on board is Nathan kinda, dude playing Mr Fantastic has kinda been trash in everything I've seen him itOk this casting is pretty damn good so far.

yeah, they got some really good picks. i liked their choice for Black Panther, even though the movie was shitty. i'm pretty sure Brie was a Feige pick. just like her costume being the fucking ugliest superhero costume for a woman. lets also not forget. Tony, Cap, Natasha and Renner were all pre Disney/Marvel merger. including possible Brolin's Thanos. i'm not sure about that.Assuming Gunn had a final say in casting for the GOTG movies he def knows what he's doing. Though Marvel casting as a whole up through Endgame (other than Brie Larson, but tbh if she had a better attitude she'd be tolerable) was A+ so who knows how much of that was Gunn's doing.

i thought the first Avengers film was the last non Disney influenced Marvel film. maybe i'm wrong or only going by the credits. i am not sure if the first glimpse of Thanos was with Brolin in mind. this is speculation on my partEhhh.... Disney bought Marvel in 2009 so I'm not really sure what movies they started actually having influence. The only two MCU movies that are definitely completely independent of Disney are Iron Man and The Incredible Hulk since they both came out in 2008. I'd have to imagine everything after was Disney since IM2 didn't come out until 2 years after IM1 (May 2008 vs May 2010). Seeing how Brolin didn't actually lend his voice until GOTG he's likely a Disney casting. Only way to know for sure would be to ask him lol.
The first movie in the MCU that Disney distributed was The Avengers (2012). Although Disney already owned Marvel by the time Iron Man 2, Thor, and Captain America: The First Avenger were released, those films were already set to be distributed by Paramount Pictures. Disney did buy the distribution rights to all earlier MCU films in 2013, however.i thought the first Avengers film was the last non Disney influenced Marvel film. maybe i'm wrong or only going by the credits. i am not sure if the first glimpse of Thanos was with Brolin in mind. this is speculation on my part
alright, so those movies were still Paramount made films. you can actually tell because those movies were much more adult themed. The first movie in the MCU that Disney distributed was The Avengers (2012). The first Marvel movie to be produced by Marvel Studios after it was bought by Disney was Iron Man 3 (2013). The aforementioned distribution deal with Paramount was a prerequisite for this film to be made.
Paramount was distribution. Marvel Studios was the production company.alright, so those movies were still Paramount made films. you can actually tell because those movies were much more adult themed.
Harshaw is correct, they were MADE by Marvel and just distributed by Paramount. Yes, they were a bit more adult themed because you didnt have disney mandates to worry aboutalright, so those movies were still Paramount made films. you can actually tell because those movies were much more adult themed.
ok, i was gonna say, those early movies were a lot more serious and less jokey. i gues GotG kinda changed that.Harshaw is correct, they were MADE by Marvel and just distributed by Paramount. Yes, they were a bit more adult themed because you didnt have disney mandates to worry about
, the filmmakers of Blue Beetle, the other remaining DC movie that was made during the AT&T era and comes out in August, asked for two days of additional shooting but the studio turned them down
Blue Beetle was an obvious cheap diversity hero. Supposedly he is part of the new Gunn stuff, but I bet it will be done when it tanks at the theaters.cuz Aquaman does numbers
Aquaman got additional money because it's worth it. Blue beetle got nothing from Gunn.
I dont know why they just dont throw all these movies out. So many delays and reshoots for movies you are rebooting anyways.

it has no hype around it and nobody can promote it. Gunn lending his name to a sure bomb isnt going to help the "good" other Gunnverse films that are set to be released someday in the future. the only thing they can hope for is that people will forget how much they lied about Flash being the best movie ever and that Blue Beetle is the first Gunnverse film. too bad nerds dont forget and normies dont give a shit. i love me some DC, but BB looks like a spiderman knockoff and since there already is a spiderman. why would i watch its mexican copycat? That's the vibe I got. It's business to try to prop Blue Beetle up by fibbing about Gunnverse inclusion-- despite that probably meaning fuckall.
It's political. What was Gunn going to say when people directly asked if it's Gunnverse? "nah forget Blue Beetle too" after cancelling so much shit. Of course not.
