Well the way I see it is that Captain Marvel has few good features and sticks to the Marvel formula, but is only actually bad with the smile scene and the cat scene. It's 4/10 at worst.

Aquaman is just aggressively bad at all times in every way. It's a 3/10 at best.

I want to argue more about this but find that my brain refuses to dig up enough details about either movie (CM or AM1). Its making it really fucking hard.

But I'll say this. Aquaman was just dumb. That was the worst thing about it. I dont care enough to hate anything about it in particular. It was for me just a failed movie like the 80s or 90s attempts at Fantastic Four, Captain America, etc - like it just faded from my mind as a failed adaptation of source material that I liked.

Captain Marvel, I didnt give a shit about the source material and didnt know the actress existed til I saw her in that movie.

But I hate that fucking movie. Her whole arc is how it turns out all the men trying to teach her emotional control were actually trying to keep her down, and the secret to true power is to lose your shit emotionally. I'd hate the movie even if she was hot or a good actress, because its an aggressively stupid message that exactly the opposite of what the world needs.

Momoa at least has emotions and a personality. Brie is a fucking terrible wooden actress and brought CM down more because of it.

Emilia Jones at least looks kinda/sorta muscular and she doesn't have a jaw that would make the Wheel of Time casting director wet her panties.

Every picture I've seen of Donnelly (who I looked up in response to that post) shows her with a very clear butt chin. its somehow distorted and not apparent in the pic above.

don't know where the info comes from, maybe from their hire bio, couple sites list donnelly around 106lbs. milly 112 and jones 125.

Annasophia Robb is a much better version of Supergirl than any of those choices. Google tells me she just turned 30, which is significantly older than these restingbitchfaces but a quick glance through pics she looks like she could pull it off for a while at least. But maybe Gunn is hoping for a 10+ year role. Ha! Unless your name is Cavill I can't think of anyone that should have stayed for that long.

I honestly can't think of a single under 25 actress that I'd want in the role, but I guess I don't watch enough movies with that age range (unless you count porn, and by then they are practically MILFs!).
