Didn't they drop Ezra already?
nothing official confirmed other than the movie is still going forward as planned. with or without him nobody knows. i assume if he is reshot out of it they would either delay the release or scrap it entirely. they waited way too long to start reshooting with any hopes of it being released on time. so they will likely dump it on HBO max and add something at the end so its a new actor taking his place in the role from now on. hopefully. no way i am down with this degenerate being Flash anymore.

Read headlines saying they were releasing the movie, but dropping Ezra so he was done after it releases. Looking it up now it looks like just rumors.

Probably just made up bullshit, but does seem to be the obvious way to go. Release the $200 million movie you already paid for but drop the basket case actor who's too big of a liability to hang a franchise on

you would think if they could airbrush out a mustache on Henry Cavill's face, they could just airbush someone elses face on Ezra Miller or just reshoot scenes with his face prominent. they were able to do that with some scenes in Back to the Future. Eric Stoltz was originally casted to play Marty, but he sucked so bad that they brought in Michael J Fox to reshoot those scenes with a few back shots of Eric Stoltz still left in the film.

They threatened to do that with Blade when he called the production racist and that was 20 years ago or whatever. The tech is there but they don't want to scuff a AAA production up.

its pretty obvious The Flash movie is their "this is how our multiverse movie works", it literally doesn't matter who is in it they are gonna drop in every single WB character they have into it, wouldn't be surprised to see multiple iterations of Harry Potter and LeBron James and Michael Jordan in it too so at the end they can just go "... and from this time forward, anyone can be any character and its all multiverse! Also Ezra Miller's Flash died on the way to his home planet, RIP."

You'll almost certainly see cameos from Joaquin Phoenix's Joker, multiple versions of Wonder Woman and Aquaman, multiple versions of Batman and Shazam, etc. They saw the Illuminati scene from Dr. Strange 2 and they think their version of that is gonna be better, we'll probably see multiple Justice Leagues with different team setups (and probably a few evil Leagues).

don't care, i'll see the flash at home but no way am i giving WB money theater money that would eventually go into the pockets of a (future jailed) Ezra Miller.

It'd be kind of amazing to watch DC unwoke itself at just the time when everyone else is zigging and then go on to become the standard superhero cinema universe instead of Marvel.

Gonna need a source for the Gotham Knights cancellation considering the complexity of CW ownership.

This very much feels like WarnerMedia was essentially bankrupt as a subsidiary and AT&AT dumped it because it was costing them money rather than making it.

They had so many movie flops that the movie news is not surprising, more surprising for me is the TV side getting hammered too.

Warner is in the hole for hundreds of millions of dollars and thats not including the hundreds of millions of dollars for golden parachutes for the fired execs. their stock is tanking too. there is a lot of fat that needs cutting. big pieces.
Ethan Van Sciver does a better job of explaining it. he lost money on the green lantern thing.

Why? The tv shows were objectively shit outside of Doom Patrol and Peacemaker.

Yeah thanks, I love me some EVS. I need to actually read my copy of Cyberfrog lol.

I remember when he covered the AT&T takeover and they were going to reboot the DC continuity as "5G" for corporate synergy and AT&T told them to stop because it was too cringe.

I don't really get US TV, so I don't really know how well that stuff does.

On reflection... yeah they had the Batgirl TV show cringe too.
