I wonder how drunk I'd be if I took a shot every time a character was supposed to be one of the smartest in their universe.
I wonder if he'll be gay like in the Arrowverse. Who am I kidding, of course he will be. Once you go gay, you can't take it back or the LGBTQs will lose their shit.

I don't know much about the comic character, but I enjoyed the version of him in the Arrowverse. I think that's mainly down to the actor being really charismatic. So far, all the Arrowverse casting has been leagues better than movie casting for DC properties.

I'd have rather of seen Firestorm or Black Lightning. Gunn like the obscure characters though.
He started as a disposable hero for Suicide Squad but Cena killed it so they got the Peacemaker show. Peacemaker didn't get some solo movie to be introduced. It came down to Cena and Gunn vibing.

It's the Meanest Man Alive take that was jarring. He's not just the most powerful-- he had to also be the most hardass son of a bitch you'll ever meet. Angry bitter moody Superman was fun for all of 5 minutes.
