His healing factor basically expediates cell development. Especially tumors. So he's got a lot of nasty tumors going on. Also he's immune to mind control because his braincells are basically always going through apoptosis and constantly being renewed. That may or may not also be the reason he's insane.

Well I guess the twitter pic doesn't actually say it is him in the costume so my guess is what Column said and they make the eyes / cheeks etc, CGI. There is no way Ryan will let them go full CGI like they did with Green Lantern. That looked SO BAD.

I think it looks pretty great as a translation from the page to real life. If they can keep it from bunching up super weird when he moves, and get the eyes to work right, I think it's as good as we could expect. Maybe something animatronic for the eyes, they can probably swing that these days well enough. CGI could work, but Green Lantern....yeah...
