I mean, he's not wrong. (second half of the 2010's at least) It's just not the time to rub salt into the wound of someone trying to fix their stuff, especially since it's most likely the monitor and not the GPU

Take a look at the 32gk850f if you don't mind the idea of a 32inch. It and the gsync version are considered to be the best affordable VA panels. Very good contrast and usual VA weaknesses are limited on them

We're heading towards 280hz ips monitors. Just announced:
Linus was talking about that recently. Honestly I think after 144hz it really doesn't matter that much. Even when they did the thing with Shroud, the difference past 144 was negligible. Not worth the cost.
