Did the motherboard come with a WiFi antenna?
Well, I'll be God damned. I feel like a fucking idiot now.

I thought one of the bags had one of those cheap over-ear mic/earpiece pieces. Didn't really even look at it, just tossed it into the box of extras. Sure enough, that was an antenna.

Wondering if anyone here owns one of these monitors, and/or has any recommendations at a similar price point.

ASUS ROG SWIFT 34in QHD IPS 100Hz G-Sync Gaming Monitor (PG348Q) would be ~ US $650 I believe.

Seems like a really good deal (boxing day) for a 2 year old model, and I've been looking for a way to move to 3440x1440 without completely breaking the bank. Would have preferred a flat monitor, but they just don't exist in this format anymore. At least the 3800R curve is about as gentle as it gets.

Thoughts?

Was given a Noctua NH-U12S black, was not expecting that. Replacing a Corsair H115i that I haven't been terribly happy with.

Time to rip the whole thing apart and clean it out.

I bought a used 3.2 GHz P4 off of Ebay for $10 to replace the 2.2 GHz P4 that was in it. It was my old loft PC, and I have no idea why I've kept it so long. It has been sitting for a decade. I have a few other old things...including two, count 'em TWO Voodoo 2 cards. I plugged one in and the PSU promptly shat itself. New PSU and the PC is once again happy.

Why? Shits and giggles. I grabbed 4 GB of PC800 ram for $10.

Whoa, whoa, WHOA...such extravagance!

Laugh all you want, but can you add 50% to CPU power and double your ram today for only $20? I think not! I truly possess the wisdom of the ages.

I'd say you're all set to run Pantheon, but who knows what the specs will be when it finally releases

I got a new heatsink and put it in. That latching mechanism with the plastic feet going through the board is ass.

It don't take much these days.

I still have my OG Pentium 3, shit might be even P2, circa 1999? box downstairs in the basement. Im sure it would still boot up today. Thing had a beastly 20 gig HD, 512 MB ram, which I upgraded from 256mb. Dont even remember the vid card it had. It was my OG Everquest comp. I think I built a P4 after. All those old systems are collecting dust in the basement. I think one of them my kids took apart for funsies.

It's a dated panel at this point and is overclocked to reach that 100. It was also for sale a fair bit cheaper a month ago

Here's a new alternative for cheaper if youre not set on IPS

This doesn't really tell us the specs of your PC. What video card? Power supply? Monitor? Etc
