So I was thinking I need to get a second monitor. I have a Dell 24" IPS currently which looks fantastic. It runs in 1920X1200. If I get another monitor that runs 1920x1080, will I be able to have both displays in it's native format? Running a GTX 770. Or will I need to get another 1920x1200 native display to match?

I run a 1680x1050, 1920x1200, and 1920x1080 on one card. No need to match resolutions unless you're OCD.

Video card control panels (and operating system settings) let you configure each monitor individually, including resolution and color profiles.

I should know that, but I have never run dual monitors before.

Don't go two or you will have the bezel right in the center. You need at least 3. Unless you want to just game on one and surf on other.

Never installed an SSD. Do you need to purchase any additional mounting brackets or cables, or are these typically plug and play + installation for most cases (other than the software)?
Most retail-boxed SSDs will come with a little mounting platter that makes it fit into a traditional 3.5" internal hard drive bay. That being said, since an SSD has no moving parts and produces zero heat, there's no real need for it to be mounted anywhere really. My old SSD was an OEM product with no mounting hardware, and I just left it sitting loose on the bottom of my case, it was perfectly fine. Used it like that for a full year with no problems, eventually just replaced it because I needed a bigger capacity SSD.

Yeah, if you plan on gaming on both monitors. But if you just game on the middle monitor there is no issue with having the middle for gaming and the second monitor (left or right) for browsing or videos). How dumb do you think he is?

Here is the deal my company gave me a couple hundred dollar gift card to Best Buy as a thank you. I am thinking I would like to update from my 10 year old 23inch dell LCD to a more modern monitor. I am looking for something around 24inches or possibly 27. The thing is it has to come from Best Buy. I game and watch Netflix on this thing. Any suggestions would be really helpful as I am not sure if these IPS monitors are any good for games.

IMO the hardest part about building your own PC is getting the OS installed. And that's become pretty damn easy since Win7. Fuck SATA drivers on WinXP, seriously.
Lol, lies. The hardest part is actually getting the heatsink installed and cable management. Some heatsinks are fucking annoying and cut the shit out of you. :p
