Can i use a G13 and Mouse combo with a XIM?
The following peripherals list assumes you are running the latest firmware.

Below is a list of known working (and not working) USB hardware. All USB input devices are designed around a standard interface. Meaning, if your hardware isn't on this list, it doesn't mean it won't work. It just hasn't been tried. However, hardware will sometimes diverge from the standard or require custom drivers to fully function. Those cases will be addressed in future firmware releases.

In what aspect? Their crit damage and accuracy at full auto was a bit too high compared to the other classes so they could use a Nerf

Now that I have an XIM4 I can finally seriously consider playing the Hunter class. Still not sure if i would pick the Hunter over the Warlock though the hunter cloak looks so much better then other classes benefits.

AR's were nerfed, confirmed on the PAX press conference.
They nerfed ARs between alpha and beta too, so they may still be useable. Maybe someday they will figure out that the real problem is that pulse rifles are retarded shit.

Same thing could be said for scouts vs. hand cannons too, for that matter.

God I just want one more 24hour play through before launch. Hell just 1 hour to help me settle on my class

Yeah im torn on Hunter or Warlock still. I cannot see myself wanting to be a sungslinger or whatever but i have a feeling they will be pretty much wanted in raids with their group benefit.

TheorycraftTalent Calculator for Hunter, Titan and Warlock - Destiny Database (DestinyDB)
In an ideal raid group why bring a Hunter?
2-3 Titan with Defender Subclass
1st Titan = WoD (Blessing of light)
2nd Titan = WoD (Weapons of Light)
3rd Optional Titan = WoD (Armor of Light)

3x Warlock a mix of Voidwalker for damage and Sunslinger for Damage/Support
2x Sunslinger with Radiance (Song of Flame) = Reduces all cooldowns for nearby allies.

If you need Arc damage one of the Titans can spec Striker build. And who would you want in melee in a boss fight? A Titan with Striker spec or a hunter with Bladedancer spec? Titan also gets Flashbang.

I am not trying to knock on a Hunter by why bring one at all? If you need more defense your Titans can switch subclass for a more team oriented defensive spec that benefits everyone. If you need more offense they can spec into direct damage or group abilities that increase damage. The Warlocks can go full offense with Void walker or group offense with Sunslinger and Radiance cooldown reduction so Titan's can constantly use weapons of light on everyone.

Now on the other side of the argument, if the Hunter's single target damage is exceptionally superior to the others then it may turn out that the ideal group is 1x guardian 1x Sunslinger (cooldown reduction) and all the rest hunters. We have seen this scenario happen often enough in MMO's

Controller / Hunter here! Why? Because I shave against the grain. All I'm missing is xbox 360, sorry bandwagon!
Seriously though I think playing with selix is going to make me feel obligated to pick up xim. Which defeats the whole purpose of me console gaming.

Oh, lots of people will be playing this game on the xbox 360... they just aren't the same type of person that posts on message boards and tries to form up clans and invite friends prior to the game even releasing.

I still waffle back and forth but I think ultimately I'll start with warlock. I usually go for the warrior class in MMORPG first but since I am far removed (see Goldeneye) from console shooters I feel like I would do an aerial Fist of Havoc then spin around trying to figure out who is shooting me and ultimately die.

Hunter is very appealing and their masks are my favorite aesthetic but until my aim gets up to snuff I can see plenty of self induced rage from missed golden gun & throwing knife opportunities.

Warlock will give me medium range, a meaty AOE in nova bomb, and the ability to support people still as well while I get my aim up to snuff. I'm sure I'll level every class eventually but warlock is seeming like the best choice for now. I'm sure I could pick anything and do fine but the ancient near death hardcore gamer in me still says pick something to get up to snuff with and go from there.

All that said I still feel like I could pick any of them come Tuesday. We'll see what happens!

The autoaim in this game is insane, so you will be headshotting things left and right if you are using anything with a scope. I played as a hunter in beta, and you could headshot things with the AR from miles away. Actually easier to headshot things in medium / close range by pulling up the scope and tap quickly than it is to snipe. This due to what appears to be the autoaim / sights being pulled toward the crit spot (head).

I saw someone mention ARs had been nerfed now, but not sure if that is just damage. If the aim is the same, I don't see how any gun can replace the AR with the scope as you can run, scope and shoot 3 shots to the head in a matter of seconds. Unless you are doing multiplayer and are playing one of the wall scum people who just hugged a corridor corner with a shotgun. For a hunter I certainly saw nothing that even remotely compared to an AR in terms of adaptability (short, medium and long range) and damage (due to fast easy crits).

Just starting to look at this, pretty excited about everything I'm hearing. Quick question though, for those of you in Beta, is the pvp balance pretty solid? Or was there one class that clearly had an advantage?
