Every console version will be playing together afaik - that was reason for no PC version(yet!)Yeah I think PS4 will be the way to go here, I assume xbone/360 users will be on one "cloud" and ps4/ps3 users will be in another. Given how much backing Sony is putting into it, feels like the ps3/ps4 user base will be much larger. Unless ofc all your friends are on xbone.
the main voice (your companion cube) is Peter Dinklage aka Tyrion Lannister, everyone is complaining he sounds super flat. Maybe he gets more excited later on or something haha.
Not my screenshot but I was playing on vita today morning via remote play and it worked great, the vita is pretty useless as far as native games but it is awesome for remote play and has no lag or anything. Controls aren't great though, I wouldn't wanna do a strike or anything super hard on it.

I've seen in a few places the launch level cap is 20, so unless XP is massively accelerated in the alpha or the XP scales non linearly the time to cap is gonna be quite short. I'd guess a few people will manage in under 15 hours, probably 50 hours or so for most people.
At this point my plan is to buy at launch, play for 2 weeks, get bored, then trade in the game for almost what I paid and maybe digitally rebuy during black friday when it should be on a big sale, depending on how much new content they stream in every month.

That seems too low to be accurate since you can hit level 8 in two zones in one area and that's like 2% of the actual game if not less.
I'm wondering if the game will scale you down to content if you want to run strikes with your lower level bros. where is zarcath with our answers?!
Just searched and yeah not many levels, turns into diablo at max level which is ok to me really.

I don't know why every game doesn't add in some kind of scaling. Nothing worse than getting some friends to start playing, but having to tell them, sorry bros, can't play with you until you level up!
Of course some games allow the higher level to help out quite a bit (Diablo) but most don't give any concession for it, and you end up having to roll up a new alt just to be able to play with them.

Warning, when Ut was trying to get me to play PC stuff with him he did state that he likes to play drunk. Which can be a good or bad thing depending on your feelings, heh.
PS - Obviously grouping with the wife when I play, but being 3 man groups we'll have a spot once release comes. (Although be aware, she's going to be learning the controls still for a few weeks - a drunk might actually play better than her for a while for example!)

I still haven't gotten to play, not sure whats up with my cable but like clock work my cable seems to die at or just after 5pm last few nights. Charter says its an outage in my area but clearly something else is going on since by morning its back to normal which of course I have to head off to work. Hopefully get some in tonight or some on Saturday/Sunday.

So weird, got a message on the PS4 phone app that I got an invite to the Alpha which I'd assume had a code in the PSN email or my gmail attached, but not seeing it to give you.
Had a minor heart attack from the system not turning on though a few times, but apparently from the 2 sec power outtage about 30 sec later it was just a symptom of brown out I guess.
