What about heavy ammo?
If you are wearing a piece of armor that grants an additional ammo perk and you die in Vault of Glass, when you respawn it will actually subtract that additional amount from your total. All it takes is a couple of times of this happening and you can go from 8 rockets to 0 pretty quick. You need to bring alot of Heavy Ammo synthesis to make up for this bug and that ain't cheap my friend.

Aaahhhh. I was unaware. I have the Titan double grenade BP with that, but don't use it. My Jolder's Hammer does hold 150 ammo normally though, so I might have to die a few times more.

So now its thorn and mythoclast day in PvP. Great times if you have one, not so much if you don't.

The materials for marks is the best thing they've fucking done in this game. I was looking at getting something like 600+ materials. Fuck gathering that. I had like 200 marks lying around so I'm almost there!

Also crucible rank 7 gave me my 7th legendary scout rifle. I'm like Carrie Bradshaw and shoes at this point. Girl can't get enough!

We shoulda finished the flawless raider trophy yesterday, we were so close. Now with templar fix I see it being slightly more difficult. (someone fell on the jumping puzzle, only death on raid)

Also for anyone trying that trophy, you can not leave and go to orbit to skip the platforms, that when you return it counts as a new raid on the stats page, we got hosed out of the medal because of that (no deaths at all that time)

Ahh good point about Templar. Yeah going for that flawless raider trophy was a lot of fun. Mostly because you play the whole time terrified with a puckered asshole hehe. Funny that the hardest part of doing the flawless raider is getting everyone through the jumping puzzle without dying. That's something I can do 99.999% of the time but for some reason I splatted there a couple of times (glad I wasn't the only one). I was looking at that trophy last night and it said that only 1% of the folks who played destiny have it. That's pretty rare achievement.

Yeah, it's too bad we tried to skip the puzzle on second attempt, we actually had 0 deaths that raid but going to orbit cuts the raid into two raids. If you check our KD ratio we all had 0 deaths.

Haha, Pocket Infinity might be bugged with this patch. Friend sent me a video showing the first charge-up is normal speed, but after that its insanely fast, even after a reload.

The Nexus is the Weekly/Nightfall for this week. Both have SOLAR BURN so this one goes by really really fast. So far after 3x weekly and 2x nightfall runs, I've received nothing but blue engrams and ascendant materials. Died once after killing the boss but before the countdown and didn't get credit for the win -- argh!

Also, a couple things I've noticed since the patch that weren't documented:

1) Firing sound for SUROS Regime was changed. I like it better.
2) Encountered some yellow knights (Spawn of Crota?) in the Cosmodrome that dropped their swords when killed.
3) There's now a pin on the map to view the DLC cinematic.

That was my first experience where 4-5 people on the raid had Gjallahorns. It was awesome to watch as Atheon got burned down with the quickness. I think he only got the first teleport off and he was dead before he did the 2nd?

so any cool new exploits with the patch yet? weird it was a 75 meg download but also included a new cinematic.

so with the exotic change, does that mean weapon exotics will still be "good" with the new DLC or will they be second class quickly? If X coins = 1 exotic token then it seems like running the 28 strikes will still be a good idea to keep the coins flowing. Didn't play Destiny at all last week, wondering if there is anything I should do this week to be ready for the xpac. Run weekly 28 for coins, don't see much point in nightfall or raid though.

playstation users will get an exclusive strike and exotic weapon

Fairly sure they'll be 2nd class pretty quick. Kinda sucks they waited so long to have them just outclassed by the new weapons. They bumped up Vex Mytho to 323 dmg, but none of the other got it, so guessing all the new stuff will start at 323.

Depends what the base attack is on exotics. Some of the exotics coming out have interesting, but not necessarily better, special effects. Stuff like Thorn, Gjarlhorn, and Icebreaker will have a spot for a looong time.

Wasnt there a mention of new mats to further upgrade the exotics/legendaries you already had? I know its all speculation at this point but it would be really shitty of bungie to make all that you have earned so far, over months, worthless. Well not worthless, but you know waht I mean.

Supposedly there will be materials available to raise the attack level on current exotics to level 320. Nothing official from Bungie yet.
